Great coil!
I installed this in my 1993 ford Probe GT to move the coil externally from the distributor and I bought this coil to do so. Overall this coil has been powerful and reliable. It is extremely easy to install and wire up.

The gold standard of electronic ignitions.
Electronic ignitions are a great, easy upgrade to an older car with old school point ignitions. The car starts more reliably and with less issues. I used this on my 1967 Mustang restoration and it works great. The Blaster 3 is kind of the gold standard for electronic ignitions according to my research.

Price and availability
Bought this because resistance values from holley were vague at best. It helped to isolate a problem with my 6al box.

351w does not work
Put Blaster 3 and MSD Ready to Run and it does not want to run. Sent distributor back to MSD and they sent back saying there is no problem. Car runs with old DUI distributor ..

Product is clearly not manufactured by msd the quality is junk can feel the oil slosh inside it not the product showed when you buy a 110 $ coil and you get a 35 $ coil you get mad I'm going to test ohm and resistance and spark value tomorrow im betting I'm returning this item no msd box no msd markings the item code is way off looks like it's a coil from wish after all the coils in 25 years I've seen this is the worst one yet
