Bought 2 more after my first one
My first one I had an issue where that red tighten handle part broke due to my torquing...(just read don't stop here and go off only that)... All I did was put a spare nut in between and it tightens and never had a single issue out of it since. 100% pure error error on my part. These work flawless but yall need to understand something... THIS IS A CAST ITEM NOT ALUMINUM. What you think needs torqued, really does not. When you tighten and it stops, all you need is a mere-half to mere full turn and it's tight and will hold. Just remember the screw is not a transmission bolt, it's a tiny 1/4" screw on the side. We have tendencies to torque down for the assurance of protecting our expensive rigs thus we want to save money too... but trust me, this does NOT need that much torque and will last forever done right. Friction and cast work better together so you DO NOT have to torque down like we do the smallrig, Ulazni, Niceyrig and other aluminum style plates. Yes, even after the first one which was pure user error(me torquing to death)... I ordered TWO MORE of these the other day because after a 3 minute fix from the first one, it's been working well over a year since and because my equipment is growing up, I have to move to 501's all around now so I got two more on the way without regret. READ THE NOTE - PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTE: DO NOT TORQUE DOWN SO MUCH! <-- That's the key to these. They are CAST so again, when you start to tighten and it has that tension... one 3/4 to MERELY 1 full turn is all you need... maybe less... THAT'S IT. No different than running a screw through cheap home depot wood vs fresh birch or cheery wood... you gotta know what it is and I don't think they ever explained that but now you know... (it's CAST not birch LOL)!

This is probably the most solid super low cost quick release plate you can get...
So, I got this because I needed something moderately disposable for a project... and in the end, this thing is a LOT more durable than expected. There are only two things which I would call "bad"- the tape holding the box came undone so when I slid it out of the Amazon envelope, the plate fell out and slammed on the floor (but was undamaged), and two- the plate retaining screw felts a little "scratchy" when tightening/loosening it. This was a quick fix using just a little bit of graphite from a pencil (you could also use some form of lubricant if you wanted). I'm considering purchasing a couple more to convert some older camera tripods with fixed screws to being quick release ones. Well beyond worth the price in terms of quality and value.

Perfect Second Hand or Replacement Quick Release Plate!
This is hands down one of the best if not the best Quick Release Plates on the market. The price at time of purchase is perfect, the bubble levelers are a great touch I didn't initially think would be one of the best reasons to own this plate and release and tightening of the plate is perfect. Please note that this review was conducted only after 2 weeks of purchase and use and not based on long term usage, but as far as I can tell currently, this is an instant purchase if you are looking for a reliable and efficient Quick Release Plate.

Good Quality, Fits Almost Any Tripod
I bought this mount to replace the cheap plastic ones that come with mid grade tripods. It mounted easily with a center screw to both my ball and socket tripod and the one that just rotates on an axis. Mounting was easy and secure. The mount did not wobble and fit snugly on the base. The foot fastened to my camera rig nicely. To test I used one of my heavier setups, Sony a7III, extra battery grip, and a 200-600mm lens. The fit was great. No wobble and the camera felt secure on the tripod. This is a good purchase for anyone that doesn't need a professional tripod but wants to upgrade a bit to metal parts.

Unreliable
Got two of these, one's working well, the other stripped after one use and is un-usable. The screw that holds the plate in stripped and doesnt tighten.

Get this, you won’t ragret it ;-)
It works and gives my camera brackets a break… before IT breaks I never trusted the camera bracket. This thing is super strong and sturdy and holds better than the cheap 1 1/2in plate. That quick release is a very great addition to this product too. The locking mech on it is strong and does not require you to torque it like most kits such as the tripod stands. This is a professional plate and you can’t go wrong with it. My only downfall with this(but does not affect the stars) is the fact that I had to use my old bottom plate screw that goes to the camera, in order to mount the bottom plate. Then I took off the screws that went with this kit to mount the mounting plate to the lens plate. THEN I was able to slide it on it and it works. This needs to include a couple of additional screws so you don’t have to fiddle around with getting the plate to work. I should have to use my old plate to mount to the new. Kinds defies the purpose of investing into this but needless to say this for sure is worth investing either way. This is photography, we make things work!(and in this case, it’s not rigged and fixed, it still feels and looks like it’s part of a whole package)
