This is my first fancy torque wrench, all previous ones were lever/bar type ones, very crude and simple. I needed this for a valve cover replacement job that i absolutely wanted to get right. This one fit the torque spectrum i needed. Well put together, smooth ratcheting system, came calibrated at the factory to within 1% by “CANH”. 2 year warranty! The instructions were easy to understand and i dialed it right in to 10 newton meters easily (main torque I needed for the job). Looks to be built to be repairable as well, with standard fittings and screw heads to disassemble. Great quality for the price, very happy.

Used it for first time this past weekend. Easy to set torque, worked exactly as expected. Wrench is constructed very well with one weak spot for me, I’d prefer to have a socket release button but other than that it’s a solid buy.

I recently picked up this 1/2-inch drive torque wrench and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. I’ve been working on vehicles for years, and you can usually tell pretty quickly when a tool feels “right.” This one does. The adjustment mechanism is smooth and easy to dial in, and the settings feel precise. The click is clean and consistent at torque, not vague or mushy. Based on my experience, it seems to be calibrated correctly. Everything I’ve torqued down with it has checked out exactly where it should. What really impressed me is that most 1/2-inch drive torque wrenches tend to be most accurate in the mid-range — usually somewhere around 40 to 80 or even 100 ft-lbs — and can struggle a bit at very low settings. I needed to torque something down to 10 ft-lbs, and this wrench handled it surprisingly well. The click was still clear and consistent, which isn’t always the case at the bottom end of the scale. It has a solid, well-balanced feel in the hand and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. For engine work, suspension, or anything that requires accurate torque specs, this wrench inspires confidence. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it

I’m writing this after just a week, so bear with me, but I want to set something straight regarding the durability of this product. I noticed a lot of the reviews mentioning the nipple breaking and some of the internal components “popping”. I think this is more user error / product misuse. Not the product itself. Ensure you’re not confusing in/lbs with ft/lbs. The torque wrench arrived about 15 minutes before i needed to start using it for a project. I read the instructions and got to work. My wrench was 1/2in drive and rated for up to 250 ft/lbs, most of the days work went up to 150. It worked as any torque wrench should -I actually prefer this over some name brand wrenches I’ve used. Bottom line this is an excellent tool, I was very pleased. When I wrapped up it was stored as the OEM recommends. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS Y’ALL.

Absolutely BRLIENT black on yellow so easy to read unlike all chrome hard to read..
