An absolute lifesaver and so easy to put together
I ordered this when recovering in hospital from foot surgery and I’m so happy I did. As it was Next Day delivery, I received it on the Saturday once I got out of hospital. It was so easy to put together - my 15 year old son put it together in minutes. I bought a padded cover to make it more comfortable for my knee. Even though I am currently bedbound, it has given me so much independence by just being able to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking anyone. I look forward to being able to use it more as I get more mobile.I had looked at the option of renting but so happy I decided to buy instead. I got this the next day whereas renting could have only got it to me the following week. Rental was around £15 per week plus delivery and collection charges. This was free delivery. Plus, I don’t know how many weeks I would have needed the rental scooter. At least 8 until I can weight bear, so it would have cost more in the long run. Plus, I intend to sell this once I have used it. So, with all things considered, it made much more sense to buy. This has been invaluable and a real lifesaver. It is a great make and really well made and from a reputable company. I have attached a string shopping bag to it so that I can wheel bits and pieces around.I’m so happy I bought this and if you need one, suggest you do the same. Don’t even think about it, just do it!

Excellent product
This product is amazing. I’m waiting to have foot surgery and can’t put any weight on my foot for at least a month. It’s so easy to whizz around the house and doesn’t tire out the rest of my body like using crutches does. It steers well and seems sturdy. I’m only using it inside so far, mainly on hard floors, so don’t know how it is on any other surfaces. It was easy to put together with clear instructions - I did it in 10 mins while sitting on the sofa.

Great, Some Limitations
This is great, with a broken ankle it gets me around, outside too. Remember - legs wide so don't bump into wheels, and be very very careful over bumps.I don't think I could use for long distance as quite tiring, esp even slightly uphill. A seat cushion might help the (not young) knee.Perfect height for 'keep the foot up' though. Easy to fold (Youtube for info). Over handlebars a light bag with floppy straps lets keep things safe yet accessible.

Best purchase and worth it
HiOrdered to use following ankle fusion surgery and has been my life saver. Can use inside house and makes things much easier. Even with cooking and just getting to the different roomsHowever outside not great unless paving is even. Not great for rough terrains. Used to go for little walks or just from car park to hospital and fallen twice as not sturdy outside. However def recommend for indoor use.

Amazing help !!
Brilliant item helped me get around after my operation to my ankle as was in non weight bearing plaster.Saved the strain to my upper body which you get when having to use crutches.Highly recommend this item.

Just what was needed
Very useful to get around when unable to place any load on the ankle/foot while healing. Steering radius a bit wide for indoors but any tighter and it would probably be Unstable so all good. Life saver for my elderly mother to get around the house while 6weeks in a foot cast!

Awesome!
(Note: I don’t show as verified purchaser as Igot my brother to buy it, as I couldn’t get to the door!)Had ankle fusion surgery, non weight bearing for six weeks, trying to get around on crutches has been exhausting. I spotted this scooter and got my brother to get it for me and I’m free! Smooth, stable, I can drive with one hand carrying a drink in the other. Just don’t try to go too fast, stick to walking pace, mount the front axle the correct way (one way allows the wheels to steer to 90 degrees, you don’t want that, the other restricts to about 30), be aware that at thresholds, carpet to laminate e.t.c., the wheels will want to attack at 90 degrees so be sure to slow appropriately.I can’t recommend this enough. It’s also giving my quads and glutes a workout, so my leg won’t wither away while my ankle heals.
