KneeRover Go Knee Walker - The Most Compact & Portable Knee Scooter Crutches Alternative

Following a triple fracture of the ankle following a skiing accident I purchased a set of crutches, a rollator and hired a self propelled wheelchair....and eventually this knee rover. Unless you have great upper body strength, all but the knee rover cause problems. The hopping action of crutches or a rollator aggravate any inflammation, especially while staples are still in place and when you have plates and bolts in place. Crutches are also unstable (but unavoidable for some activities and in confined spaces) and wheelchairs don't work well indoors or on rough pavements - my poor wife injured her wrist assisting me on hills.The knee rover is stable, comfortable and easy to use outdoors and indoors. It allowed me to maintain a lot of independence. I could have sold 20-30 of these in the fracture clinic, moving around the hospital or shopping.The Go model is versatile and well built, but it is quite heavy, meaning stability is good, but putting it in the boot was hard for my wife. But the colour is very fetching! Really recommend knee rovers if your injury is below the shin.

This product has been amazing, I had an ankle replacement so no weight bearing for a few weeks without it living on my own would have been impossible, it feels safe and so easy to use, in fact I was warned by my neighboour not to do wheelies its so efficient.

Fabulous little trick for keeping mobile. This scooter allowed me to continue working and travelling for work including flying out to Europe. Now need to sell it as I’m back on both feet
