Dorman 1590140 Headlight Assembly Compatible with Select Ford Models, 2 Pack

Arrived a lot faster than it said so I was happy. Easy to install, bulbs already installed and they are bright. Look exactly like OEM. I had to buy the set because someone stole a headlight from my truck, but at this price and the fact my old ones were so yellow I’m actually glad they did steal my old one because these are a lot better.

These headlights are a virtual clone of the original OEM units in my 1997 F-150 with one important exception - the adjuster bushings (my name for them). There are three in each headlight and serve to hold the light assembly in the bracket. Check the pictures - the unit on the left came with the Dorman headlight and the one on the left is the original. Note the two tabs on the original - they serve to lock the headlight into the bracket. The Dorman bushing lacks them so it simply falls out. I swapped the new bushings for the old and made it all work. You can remove your existing headlight and see the bushings from the back to confirm if you will have this problem or not. Check it out.

I had hoped to reuse the original Ford headlight clips but the new ones are slightly smaller and the fit was incompatible, so I caliper measured and set the new clips. Installation was medium difficult because the old passenger light would not remove easily. I removed the parking/turn light to improve access. I used a 5/32" box end wrench to fine tune aim but a long arm ratchet tool is available on amz too. Check out yootoob videos for installation instructions. The lightset-pair comes with zero documentation but included halogen bulbs. Lights are a vast improvement over 18yo F150 Supercrew yellowed lenses.

Fast shipping and so easy to install! If I can do it ANYBODY can do it! I’m not mechanically inclined at all! My 2000 Ford F-150’s stock ones were very cloudy. Swapped them out with these and night and day difference! No pun intended! My winter vehicle is road worthy again! Thanks Dorman

I went from very opaque headlights to nice crystal clear ones. I can actually see things BEFORE I hit them! There were a good value.

Wow! What a difference from my old stock headlights. These restored my night vision again, and came with bulbs as well, so super easy to deal with. I did have to adjust them for alignment as they were not exactly the same as stock. Cutoff is a little low for low beams, but high beams are great.

I was tired of cleaning the lens every few months and replaced them with these lights. Yes! They had new bulbs already installed, literally plug them in and slide them into their appropriate spots. Don’t forget to get an adjustment tool for them. I thought I could “eyeball” adjust them, nope. BTW, the tool is the way to go. Around $15 from auto superstore.

Fit like the original head lights, it comes with new bulbs, had to you tube how to replace, once I watched video it took about 45 minutes to install. Brightened up my old truck, got read of the yellowed original head lights, night driving is so much better now.

Shipping-Came as promised, nicely packed.quality-lighter weight than stock, but good quality-nice and clearInstall-(2001 ford f-150 xlt) pulled up the holders on either side of light in truck, grabbed inside edge of light by grill with my fingers, pushed on outside bolt by the inside fender where they go through the holders and wiggled. Light assembly came right out. popped off wiring connector and replaced with new light. install inside mount first, than two outside mounts. Did both in less than half an hour. Careful to make sure all three rubber mounts stick through holders and light seated properly before pushing down on holders to secure. Take off side marker light to make this job a breeze, one screw and pull straight out to front of truck.bonus-after measuring distance of mounts from end of rubber to base, found they matched mine-so lights were aligned on install. Came with new bulbs!Conclusion-don't waste your time with cleaning kits..$100 sold! New lights and bulbs with easy installation

Fit perfectly on my 2002 F150.Took about 7 minutes to install and come with supplied Headlamp bulbs!Very good quality for the price. They are very bright and I absolutely love em.Thanks!

Queda justo como el original, incluye el candado del bulbo así como el bulbo, solo una cosa, el bulbo que viene incluido es de muy baja calidad, recomiendo cambiarlos por unos Philips ultinon led o cougar motor led para que se vea mejor

Très bon produit pour le prix payé, l’installation été très facile et a pris 30 minutes par phare. Reste à voir à long terme si le produit va être durable.
