My Hero (Disney Bolt) (Step into Reading) Paperback – September 23, 2008

This is a perfect small-child sized summary of the film, with rich, full-colored, full-paged illustrations which will enchant a youngster who is Bolt-obsessed like mine. With as few words as possible they manage to hit all the main points in easy-to-understand language, making this an A+ book for accessibility and attractiveness.

My 4 year old loves Bolt and this book. Nice pictures and simple words for her to understand and eventually read.

I bought this for my nephew; he’s in kindergarten. Reading is an area he has some trouble in, but this book was perfect for him! He insists on reading it every night.

This is one of my son’s favorite movies and the book did not disappoint. I only wish the listing had been clear that this was a used book. I looked back at the listing and I couldn’t find that in any details. It’s not a huge deal, I just wish I had known up front. It’s a little beat up, has writing in it, and the poster is ripped. Not the end of the world but a little disappointing

Perfect for entry level, minimal reading. My son is 14, and has special needs, and is reading and writing (never expected!), he loves this movie, so I know he'll love the book. It's a present from the Easter Bunny, so it will be in his Easter Basket. I'm excited to hear him read it, as this ability is nothing short of a blessing!!

I love Bolt, the movie, and I've got the DVD, plus three stuffed toys scattered around my bedroom, so when I saw there were books available,I had to get them. (I also got Bolt--a Little Golden Book.) Bolt, My Hero, is a large-sized paperback, and the illustrations are like the movie characters, except Mittens is cuter. They did a good job of condensing the movie into scenes. Highly recommended.

Great little book for new readers. Nice story. Cute characters. Came promptly.

My daughter loves the story and I love the length of the story and the simplicity of the words for teaching her how to read. I would recommend this for other people with 3-4 year olds learning to read.
