Nextbase 322 Dascam Easy to set up and install
Really easy to set up and link to my android phone to review any videos. Picture quality is really good. Easy to install and adhesive strength is perfect. Quality to me is great and good value for money.

Great value dash cam.
I simply wanted an easy to use relatively inexpensive dash cam for my daily commute. It's 1080hd which I believe is quite sufficient for everyday use. I have a Gopro for footage I want to use or keep. It was easy to fit, and as I wanted to 'hard wire' I also bought a hard wire kit by Nextbase which made a professional finish very easy. I've mounted the camera behind the rear view mirror and can scarcely see it, and the wiring is completely hidden. I personally had no trouble at all connecting through their app, although some other reviewers seem to have had bother with it. (plenty of help on YouTube) Camera and accessories all appear to be good quality and the pictures are excellent. Given that ultimately I hope I'll never actually NEED it, I wasn't goi g to spend a fortune on a load of unnecessary features that in the more expensive cams. I would have preferred to have awarded 4.5 stars, simply because there's no sd card supplied. In fairness this is made quite clear on the box and description, but given that a card isn't an optional extra, it seems a bit 'off' that you've buy one for the cam to work at all. Further more, they really push their own expensive ones!

Great bit of kit but could be more user friendly
Good quality video, does what you need it to do and straight forward enough to mount to windscreen. Takes a few goes to get it to connect to the phone app which is annoying but once connected it’s easy enough to download footage. Will not work without an SD card which has to be bought separately. Overall good investment, but connectivity improvements would make it better.

Excellent Dash Cam – Clear Footage & Smart Features!
I’ve been using the Nextbase 322GW Dash Cam for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The 1080p recording at 60fps captures sharp and smooth footage, making license plates and road signs easy to read. The 140° wide-angle lens ensures a broad field of view, so nothing important is missed. The 2.5” touchscreen is a game-changer! It’s bright, responsive, and makes navigating the settings and reviewing footage simple. The Quick-Link Wi-Fi and Bluetooth integration is fantastic—footage transfers to my phone seamlessly, and I can quickly share clips with my insurer using the MyNextbase Connect app. One of the standout features is the built-in GPS and emergency SOS response. Knowing that my exact location is logged in case of an accident gives me peace of mind. The G-Sensor automatically saves clips if a collision occurs, ensuring I never lose critical footage. I also love the Intelligent Parking Mode, which records any movement when my car is parked. The Click&Go Pro mount is another highlight—it makes installation and removal incredibly easy with its magnetic connectors. Overall, this dash cam is worth every penny. Whether for everyday driving or added security, the Nextbase 322GW delivers top-notch performance. Highly recommend!

Excellent camera quality, with attention to detail.
I bought the 222XR and 322GW dashcams, so this review covers some advanced points with hits and tips. The 222XR pack comes with the ‘Rear WINDOW Camera’ which connects to the front dashcam via a proprietary connector. The rear camera mount uses a 3M pad to affix to the window with the camera affixing to the mount using a strong magnet which makes angling it simple. Pro tip: this rear camera is compatible with 622GW, 522GW, 422GW, 322GW, it is NOT compatible with the 322GW which instead uses the ‘Rear VIEW Camera’ or ‘CABIN View Camera’ models. 222XR does not have GPS so it doesn’t overlay your location or speed on its recorded video. Picture quality of both camera is excellent and identical as far as I can see. Both take pictures as well as video and protect files automatically. Both come with two 3M adhesive pads affixed to small plastic ‘plates’, these are useful if you want to move your camera and mount between vehicles as you simply slide the ‘Click & Go Mount’ out. Pro tip: Although the ‘Click & Go Mount’ looks the same on both cameras the 322GW one additionally contains the GPS chip so for GPS to work you MUST use the 322GW with its mount. The dashcam itself is attached to the ‘Click & Go Mount’ using a strong magnet which makes removing the camera from the vehicle quick and simple, it’s also helped by the power going into the mount and not the camera so no fiddly reconnecting wires. You also get a tool to help you fit the cables and a ‘ferrite power cable attachment’ to stop electronical noise from your vehicle interfering with the camera. It’s these little touches of thought that makes you appreciate Nextbase. Pro tip: The MyNextbase Player from Nextbase is free and works with both dashcams, for the GPS data it additionally shows the speed, G forces and Google Maps overlay, it also has a video editor. If you are the person who just wants to plugin and go - the Quick Start Guide in the box is good enough, but if you are going to use features such as Parking Mode, Dual Files, Alerts etc. you will be scratching your head on what exactly these are. Go on to the Nextbase website’s Support page and download the much more details (60 pages) User Manuals.

Good value product
Good value dash cam. Easy to setup and appears good quality and value for money. Picture quality good for price paid. Will purchase a second one for my vehicle. I like the sticky pad directly onto the windscreen, rather than a suction cup that gives up in the heat.

Not Fit For Purpose, Would not recommend.
I recommend NOT buying the 322gw or possibly any of this generation, judging by other reviews and my personal experiences. TLDR :- The rear camera stopped working after a month. The front camera/unit regularly freezes. The camera regularly fails to start recording automatically as it should. Recommendation :- If you are able to obtain a 312GW (part of the previous generation lineup) I would highly recommend that. It was extremely reliable for me over 4 years with no issues. The only things you will be missing is the rear camera ability and it will be 30fps instead of 60fps. It uses the same power kit. If I hadn't given mine away when i sold my car then I would happily go back to it now. - - - Full Review - - - PROS: - The picture quality is very good, 1080p at 60fps front and 720p 30fps rear and good quality at night. The unit can save each video twice, one as full resolution and the second as a lower resolution suitable for attaching to an email. Handy for quick responses when helping someone who needs the video quickly when away from a computer. You can then upload the full quality video to a file sharing service for them at a later time. Small so can easily hide behind your rear view mirror. The GPS/mount has a easy quick magnetic attach/detach system that allows you to remove the camera should you want to without pulling off the adhesive. CONS:- The camera will regularly stop recording or not start recording when it turns on. This is literally the primary purpose of the device, so it not doing what it is supposed to do makes it not fit for purpose. There is also no warning that this has accrued other than looking at the screen to see if the small record icon is flashing when the screen is turned on. The camera will regularly freeze, IF the camera is recording when this happens then it will continue to do so until the battery runs out or until you turn off your car. But attempting to stop or re-start the recording is not possible. There is no warning that this has happened unless you attempt to push a icon on the screen. The camera sometimes over heats. Not dangerously hot but warmer than i would be happy with if i was the manufacturer. There was no warning of this unless you touch the device. The rear camera stopped working after a month. Not the reliability i would expect for this price or this manufacturer. There was no warning of this until i checked the device for a video and found the rear camera had stopped. What i think happened:- I think next base got too comfortable and started to slack in quality, whilst also thinking it would be fun to add features that nobody was asking for or needed. Nobody needs Amazon Alexa in their dash cam for example (upper models have this for some reason). We dont need the camera to connect to our phone every time it turns on. we dont need touch screen, buttons were working fine. We dont need the dash cam to call 999 when something happens, most good smartphones have that built in now.

Easy set up
The Nextbase dashcam is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly device. Its touchscreen interface makes navigation effortless, and setup is quick and straightforward, even for those new to dashcams. The video quality is sharp, capturing clear details in both day and night conditions. Features like intelligent parking mode and emergency SOS add extra peace of mind. Overall, it’s a well-designed, high-quality dashcam that offers great value for money.
