Ordered this for my wife as a bday present. Changed my mind about 2 days later on the letters I wanted included.Seller responded immediately and accommodated the request at no extra charge. I asked the seller to please expedite faster than what is posted, and she beat the estimated date by 2 weeks, again, no extra charge.They kept sending me regular email updates so I knew even more about the progress on filling order than what was posted on Amazon, was super friendly, super nice,and very understanding.Well, it arrived yesterday, and wow, it is beautiful. By the way, I am Egyptian, have an appreciation for such things after having visited Egypt and its markets several times in my lifetime... and I can tell you, this piece is well worth the money, and you can trust this seller with your eyes CLOSED!!!

If I could give it 10 stars I would. It is striking to say the least. The reason this takes awhile to get is because they are all hand made. This is my second one ordered. I only wish I could wear many, many more, but I have one name.And to the comments on other reviews about taking so long to receive it, it states right on the ad on Amazon.com, these are made it Egypt.

I wear two necklaces now because I can't bear to not wear this item.I always wore a necklace/pendant that was custom made for me by my mum. Since I received this, I've taken it off twice (when I first got it) and I haven't since then...I feel naked without it.Another custom made item, and this one bears my name as I used to write it when I learned hieroglyphics as a child.It is quite durable, beautiful, hallmarked with the Egyptian gold marker.I have it on a 1.3 millimeter gold box chain and it complements it beautifully.Worth every penny.

Love it. Was a gift for my 11 year old granddaugher who admires my cartouche my girlfriend had gotten me as a gift while she was in Egypt. So to order one from Egypt and have it personalized for her was a wonderful gift. It came much sooner than it said it would. I had plenty of time to inspect it and should it not been what I wanted I could returned it and looked for something else for her. This was really nice quality. We both rocked ( wore) our cartouches on Christmas day. Big hit. Something she can have for years. Bonus she is studying about Egypt in school and was excited to return to show her teacher her Cartouche.

I love this, but I'm not certain that is solid gold like the one I bought in Egypt years ago. I think it is gold plate which I didn't read anywhere in the description. I also think the characters for my name aren't 100% correct. The character for the letter i is a w shaped line on my original and I looked it up and it is a different symbol as well. But that could be interpreted differently. But that all said, I do love it the workmanship is good and I've received many compliments.

This was a gift for my fiance's birthday and he absolutely loved it. Pam was such a wonderful person and helped me re-order the item when it came with a slight flaw (missing authentication mark), she walked me through the whole process and kept in touch as frequently as was needed until the issue was resolved. Pam understood the importance of my request and helped me honor the symbology behind this unique gift.

OMG! This pendant more than exceeded my expectations. It is so beautiful and the pendant is so carefully embossed and it is my new favorite pendant. I never take it off. The pictures on the pendant are perfect and I have had so many compliments on it already. The seller made sure my name was spelled correctly and it was perfect. This pendant would make the perfect gift for anyone if you are looking for something different. I love my pendant!

I bought this cartouche as a birthday gift to myself. Delivered much faster than stated. I put it on my necklace the day I received it and it has stayed there since. Wear it all the time, sleep shower and shop with it always near and dear to my heart! I love it!!! Best gift ever!!!!
