Fantastic, and easily modded to fit CTC grips
Love this.My LCR has the CTC option, which this holster does NOT fit out of the box; the holster's retaining clip is designed to engage the forward trigger guard when properly seated and, although it is possible to loosen the adjustment screw enough to allow the thicker-than-stock CTC grip into the holster, doing that leads to a mushy draw and a failure of the retaining clip to positively engage the guard. The solution is to spend about 40 seconds with a Dremel to grind out a small notch for the CT element (see pictures). I could have been a little more precise in my own modification, but even with my own heavy hand I was able to grind out a perfectly serviceable notch while leaving the little Fobus logo intact for appearances.Once the modification was made and the screw adjusted, this holster works beautifully. Stable platform with positive, reassuring "click" when the weapon is properly seated, perfect retention even while running jumping climbing etc., perfect release tension when it's time to draw.Being a paddle holster, it's obviously designed for the paddle to go on the inside of the trousers and is nicely curved and padded so as to not chafe or cause weird pressure points even over 12 hours of use; that being said, the paddle's secondary notch will engage a belt without being inside the trousers, making it practically useful with a duty belt if you're so inclined. It's also somewhat effective clipped inside a pocket for those "gotta go chase the raccoons out of the shed again" moments, though obviously I wouldn't recommend using it that way for any extended period of time.Overall, this is basically a perfect holster for the LCR, and a few moments of modification make it an equally perfect holster for the CTC LCR. Considering how much more a paddle holster *made* for the CTC grip costs, this is an absolutely fantastic alternative.

Paddle Holster Ruger LCR
This is a outstanding holster! I'm 5'2, 106 lbs. female and I love this holster! I did not have to do any adjusting at all to the Fobus. My Ruger LCR slid right in and snapped into place perfectly! I also love the paddle. Some reviews I read talked about two screws poking them, I have not had this issue. The paddle is very comfortable to me and is great for when I open carry since I typically don't wear loose fitting clothes. I feel very confident carrying with this holster, I don't find myself checking to see if everything is still in place, like I have with some holsters because the fit is great! The draw is also very easy with the paddle holster, because there is a lip where the paddle slides into the pants and over your belt, it keeps it nice and secure onto the pant. The only grip I have......whether you male or female, if you get the paddle caught on your panties, briefs, thongs, boxer briefs, whatever you wear.....when you first put the holster on for the day......it's a small pain to get it uncaught and your pants down. So, with that being said, maybe be cautious to not get your unmentionables caught in the paddle. All in all, I totally recommend this holster, great quality, great price, and comfortable!

Works well, with some limitations.
This holster has its good and bad points. First the good. It seems to be sturdy and well made, It slips in my waist band relatively easy and has a nice pad that rests against my hip. Once fully inserted into the waist band, it holds really well, with no tendency to pull loose from my belt line. Now the bad. At the very top, the paddle connects to the holster with three metal rivets, but there are two metal tabs that stick out between the rivets about 1/4 of an inch on the body side. These little metal tabs ( I cannot imagine what purpose they serve), dig sharply into my skin just above belt level. They actually stick out about 1/16th inch further than the padding on the paddle. I have a cotton t-shirt on between the holster and myself, but that does little to lessen the discomfort. The best I can do is adjust the paddle to a different location every so often to keep from having them rub a raw spot at any particular point. I am of a slender build, so it's not because I hang out past my belt and aggravate this condition either. My Ruger LCR goes in with a nice positive click, but pulls free with almost no effort. It seems to me it should work the other way around. I worry about retention, but really cannot tighten the adjustment any further without risking damaging the plastic tab that holds the weapon securely. I'm going to continue wearing it while I work around home for a couple of weeks before going out in public with it. I want to find out if it will hold the gun securely and if it will raise any sores on my body from those silly metal tabs. It really does nothing to conceal the fact that you are carrying if you have to constantly push, tug, and adjust the holster to maintain comfort. After having a couple of months to try it out, I'm getting along better with this holster. Even though it seems to pull easily out of the holster, retention hasn't been a problem when I'm active. The tabs that were digging in to my skin aren't as bad when I change to a lighter web belt. This seems counter intuitive since a good quality gun belt works best with any other holster I've ever worn. I'm assuming the web belt allows the paddle to cant out a little, thus holding the tabs slightly away from my skin. Whatever it is, I'm much happier with the holster now. As such, I'm raising my rating from three stars to four.
