does this product have ammonia in it

These are the ingredients to this product. When I used it, it did not have the usual "eye-watering" smell that most home hair coloring products. Left my hair in better condition than it was before coloring. Should I wash my hair before applying

This is what I do before coloring my hair (I'm not a professional, I have been coloring my hair and others for over 49 years though).Don't wash your hair unless you have a heavy build up of hair spray or styling products. If you have to wash your hair, then wait 24 hours before you color. That way the color will grab better.
