SIMPLE AND HEALTHY
I bought these because I wanted a small, low calorie, simple to eat snack for those times between meals where you need something. It was perfect. The packages are 100 calories each. Only ingredients are almonds and palm oil so there is nothing bad (no sugar, wheat, dairy, etc.) and the packages are very easy to open. I have bought these a few times now as I keep going back to them as an easy, on-the-go, easy to put in your purse or pocket type of snack.

Excellent and Delicious!!
I’ve had almond butter before but this one is exceptionally delicious! There seems to be minimal separation of the oil in the nut butter which is very nice because that is bad enough when you have a jar. In a packet it would be so much worse. I was glad there is none of that here! The texture is pleasantly thicker than peanut butter typically is. Overall I think it is a good quality product and an excellent value for the price. Next time I might try the jar, but I won’t choose those other brands again!

Portable, natural protein
Update, August 2012: They've improved both the packaging and the contents since my last review. I don't notice the "grittiness" much at all, nor does it taste over-toasted, as I'd mentioned in my prior review. The packaging has an updated design and all the packets have a proper tearing point. Definitely recommended! Bumping this from 4 to 5 stars.-------These are higher protein, lower sugar, and cheaper than energy bars, and even more portable. They're a great way to stave off hunger, gluten-free. I keep one or two in my bag along with a Larabar or two, but this is the healthier & more economical option. The taste is a little "overcooked" to my taste - a deeply roasted flavor - so it may not appeal to all kids, but I'm sure many kids would like it. It's great to squeeze onto an apple as you eat it, or just eat it out of the packet. It does require some kneading before you open the packet - just squish it back and forth for a minute - because it separates like any natural nut butter would. There is a tiny bit of grittiness to the texture, but not really noticeable if you mix it up first. I'd rather have a little grittiness than a ton of shortening added to make it smooth. The other catch is not all the packets are notched properly, making them near impossible to open without scissors. There is a simple solution - I just take scissors and go through each new box, making a tiny nick on any packet where the cut doesn't go through both layers. It only takes a minute to do the whole box, and then they're all ready to go.

Easy, handy, healthy.
I appreciate this product because it's easy to carry, full of good nutrition, and light on calories. These are great on the go. I use them when I'm out hiking, or at work with no time to eat, or just out power shopping. I have diabetes and these have a great protein-to-carb ratio and can be working into any "zone" type diets, or even progressive stages or Atkins. They taste good, they have just enough salt to keep the flavor from being bland.Tip: Almond butter naturally separates, so you need to mix this inside the tube before you open it. I often rip the top off and just squeeze the butter right into my mouth. If you eat it this way and you don't squish it up before you open it, you'll get a mouth full of almond oil. Which isn't the worst thing, but it's not very tasty... and, if not mixed, the rest of the butter will be dry and hard to get out of the tube. It's very easy to work it around with your fingers a few times before you open it. And, if you store them on their side, instead of standing up, it makes the "mixing" much easier.I have this stuff on auto order, which makes it really a bargain and and excellent price per tube. We go through a delivery about once every two-three months. This is a great product that I was glad to have found on amazon.

I prefer the cups but this is good too
I used to get these in the cup form but can’t find them anymore. These are portable but I like to melt and put on cut up green apples with a caramel drizzle for apple nachos I heat up with running under hot water or putting in cup of hot water and like that it’s peanut free for my allergy kid. Flavor is good -especially with green apples

it's only worth it if you intend to eat the foil pouch
It's not that the item tastes bad. But based on the price, i had pictured much larger packages. i got this on a "lightening deal" for over 15.00. The total package contents? each packet holds maybe a half teaspoon at most of almond butter (i think far less than that, it's like a lick of it. it's all packaging. it's worth maybe $5.00 because almond butter is expensive. NOT 15.00, and certainly NOT 19.00.Plus while the vacuum-seal of the packaging may seem appealing, it's hard to get the almond butter out. so a lot gets wasted. (meaning, if you get a quarter teaspoon out of a pouch, you're doing well) and since almonds use a huge amount of the scarce water supply where they grow, and the packaging is horrible for the environment, two thumbs down on the impact on environment for this one. let's leave something for our children.i honestly think if you ate the whole box, losing some in the foil pouch, you'd get about 1/4 teaspoon x 24 packages = 6 teaspoons of almond butter. for over 19.00 dollars! i did the math - it's over $1.60 per teaspoon. And it came with the box open, and the pouches shoved all in different directions back in the box - which means someone handled it at amazon which makes me feel like i have to wash the pouches off first, because the intent was to put the open end of the pouch in your mouth.
