I needed this cable to connect my soundbar to the TV. Initially I purchased a different cable but returned it as I needed the 90 degree angle to get it hooked up to the soundbar because of the way it was built.Having this angle is the way to go! You can pretty much definitely count on it working in most hookup scenarios.Very easy to hook up. Quality thickness and good length. The signal was great. The only thing that would make this a better cable is if it was a braided cord for more flexibility.Great price for a quality cord. Happy with my purchase!

I decided to elevate my 65 inch TV so I could see the scores listed at the bottom of the TV screen. Purchased a great new TV stand that I could do exactly that, raise the TV. Unfortunately, I discovered that the new brackets on the back of the new TV stand did not allow enough room for my Fiber Optic Audio Cable to fit between the TV connection and the bracket. But like the dummy that I am, I tried to force the fiber optic cable in the tight slot requiring me to bend the fiber optic cable at a 90 degree bend. Well, as you might have guessed, the fiber optic cable broke. Which sucked! So, since I really liked the new TV stand I needed to find a new fiber optic cable that came with the 90 degree connection. As I have done many times before, I started researching one on Amazon, as i new I would not find one locally, and found this one. Based on other customers reviews I purchased this fiber optic cable that came manufactured with the 90 degree connection. What really made this fiber optic cable great was that the connection also swiveled 360 degrees too. That made it so much easier to make the connection in the back of the TV, as I really had very little room to work with. I also ordered a new CAT6 WiFi cable too. Both have worked fantastic. I would highly recommend either of these two cables and would buy again. Great quality at a good price.

I'm not sure how they get it to bend 90° and work but this does great. I set up a really expensive audio system. This was a perfect solution for connecting my TV. The optical out is on the side of the TV so I was concerned about a normal one being under constant tension. The TV barely fits in the entertainment cents so I also had concerns it would be pinched against the edges. Being able to put a 90° connection was/is an game changer. I would definitely recommend for someone in a similar situation.

I have this cable installed in my car, running from my USB audio interfasce (S.M.S.L. PO100) in my center console, to my Helix DSP.3S under my drivers seat. The swivel function of the 90° connector so far is very sturdy and has been phenomenal. I wish the cord was maybe a foot longer, because it is just to the point of being taut with the PO100 at the bottom of my center console, but that is my only critique. The swivel connector is especially useful in this situation because the PO100 is apt to move slightly as i choose music when driving, because the other side of the PO100 has a usb-c cord that runs to an OTG usb cable and goes into my phone, which can move frequently when I'm driving. So it is very nice to have a solid connection that can move and swivel with the movement of the phone with no loss of audio quality. SPDIF is the way to go for hi-res car audio 👍

My TV is attached to a wall mount. The mounting hardware nearly collides with the "optical out" jack on the TV. I wanted to connect TV optical output to a separate sound bar.But optical cable connectors are unreasonably long. They need a couple inches access space to plug in.Basically, the cable and mounting bar want to fit in the same space.This particular cable turns one end of the optical cable into a more practical short connector, which then easily squeezed into that very small space. Which solved my problem.

I cannot rate quality due to issues on my end. It appears to be a quality component and connects to the PC and AV unit well. Once I resolve some technical issues I will try to update the review. With respect to quality output my expectations are not high. Optical cables have limited bandwidth by their nature and not capable of passing superior sound. This is not the fault of this component it is due to the technology itself. This could be the best made optical cable in the world and still not be able to pass a high quality signal.Update: I have started to use this with my AE-9 sound card. Even though it is not capable of 32 bit sound they are still outperforming my RCA cables. in volume and clarity. Up until know I did not invest in cables, only equipment. I have learned my lesson. Cables Matter. My RCA cables were purchased from AutoZone and are brand new. Still, this optical cable is doing a better job. This unexpected result has caused me to pause my purchase of additional cables until I can do a little research. I like quality sound. My PC is also a media center, and never had any complaints before, but now I know.

A nice optical cord, good quality, does not look like it will be breaking anytime soon with the braided cable, good value for money.
