Best hairpin to make buns!
I have thick straight hair that's just below my shoulders and wear my hair up every day. The best bun-maker I have ever found is the Remington 4-prong hairpin, which was discontinued years ago (see the photo - the silver is this hair fork & the black is the Remington). This hair fork is the first adequate replacement I've found!I have tried hair clips (convenient until you get into a car & have to take them out + they are ugly), spin pins (hold well, but you have to set them just right, need to use two + they tend to bunch together in my drawer/bag & it takes a while to separate them), hair pins/bobby pins (takes a long time to put your hair up with them & you lose pins during the day), etc.Nothing beats the 4-prong pin for long-term hold (it doesn't fall out), convenience (takes 20 seconds to make a perfect bun & you don't really need to look in the mirror unless you're trying to do something special with the front of your hair) & appearance (the pin is barely noticeable). Since my FAVORITE 4-prong hairpin by Remington was discontinued, I've been looking for a replacement, because these things get bent, lost, etc. This Fujiyuan hair fork is the best substitute. It is almost as good as the Remington in terms of convenience & hold. Because I'm a brunette & it's silver, this pin is a little more noticeable, but it looks nice in my hair. The prongs bend a little more easily, so I am worried about durability -- but so far, so good. They don't go into my hair as easily as the Remington, but don't hurt or pull the hair -- the metal is smooth. While the prongs bent more when I fixed my hair, they easily bent back when I took it out.I'm so happy to have found this product after years of searching. It's not my favorite hairpin, but it's available & a close runner-up.

Don't bother
Very thin and cheaply made. Looked at a ton of different brands of these, double and triple checking the dimensions because I'm trying to replace a "messy bun tool" I purchased a decade ago that was discontinued. Compared to my original these are flimsy and as you can see in the picture, bent into a pretzel with my first attempted use. And I WASN'T using excessive force. Will attempt to make use of these (try to figure out a technique using multiple) but if you had the old Conair, Remington or Scunchi brand tool that looked like this, you'll be disappointed with this as a replacement. The photos with the flat (original) tool and the twisted replacement show the difference in metal thickness. Also added 2 photos with 2 of the tools out of the pack after attempted use to show it's not just one defective one. They're all flimsy. These are noticeably thinner than my original. I'll keep searching because I LOVE the original tool.

It helps hold your hair in a bun
Glad I found this hair combs, but the metal is soft and bends a little out of shape. However, they still do the job of holding my hair in a bun. I was looking for the Remington hair combs that look similar but they must not make them anymore. I ordered the black ones but they sent me the silver ones. It would be nice to have some dark black ones to blend with my dark hair.

Worked great in my long, heavy hair!
These were delivered in a flash, and were a bit smaller than I thought, but there were a lot in the package, so a good value for the money. I like that they are light and bendy, easy to adjust. It takes two to hold up my hair, but they're easy to work with and the hold is secure. And they don't hurt my scalp or snag/cut/break my hair! A thousand times better than the plastic combs I bought here previously.

Wrong color
I ordered Gun Black option but received shiny crome color. Even the packaging says the correct color so no point of returning. They work well. The four prong fork design is the only one that can hold my corse slippery straight hair up all day.

Cute, but will break easily
These are cute but not well made. I have fine hair, it’s not heavy at all, 1st pin I used is bent out of shape now (after 1 use) and I will have to toss it.

Not for thick hair.
Great for normal hair, but not for my long, super thick hair. Won’t hold it in place n
