Perfect for my small 12 foot above ground pool, and great for day or night. Flood lights in FL = BUGS, so the light on the speaker is just what we needed. I looked for a small water-proof speaker as well as small water-proof puck lights to throw in the bottom of the pool. This little bluetooth wonder takes care of both site and sound! The speaker charged quickly and holds is long lasting. Was very easy to pair with my iPhone, has double sound controls (phone and speaker), and you can also answer cell phone calls on the speaker. Haven't tried yet so not sure of how easy it is. Speaker's perfect for small pool / hot tub and it fits in the palm of my hand. I also set it on the patio table while doing yard work. Would be great at beach or inside house as well. Very versatile! Colored top half has water-proof speaker, charging port and other controls. Top of speaker comes in blue, grey, white, green, yellow, and purple (possibly more). If water gets in the speaker holes the sound gets muffled. Just tip it upside down or give a quick blow into the holes pushing the water out and the sound returns to normal. Clear bottom half is the lighted half and has a bevelled pattern on the inside creating pattern on the bottom of the pool. Option: turn the light on or leave off. Light has 8 settings: Slow changing(6 or 7 colors); Red always on; Green always on; Blue always on; Fast Flashing; Slow Flashing; or Flashes to the beat of the song. Sound from this speaker was the one thing I worried about until reading the great reviews. They were 100% right!! Sounds so great on the water. Also has small plastic loops if you want to add a string to tie it to the side of your pool, boat, etc. String not included. LOVE THIS SPEAKER AND WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

This little thing is AMAZING!! While I have only used it one time that one time was in our 20' x 48" above ground pool and once it got dark outside it lit up the entire pool. Even when it floated against the edge of the pool. Still lit up the entire pool. We had a swimming pool party for my son's 10th birthday and it was an after dark swimming party. This blue tooth speaker worked perfectly! Easy to pair to my phone, sound was great (even splashed up a little water when the base hit...lol), completely waterproof, and lit up the pool beautifully. It actually exceeded my expectations! We didn't even worry about getting water in it. We just had fun in the pool splashing around like it wasn't even in the pool. Oh, and the battery life was great. We started playing music without the lights at 7 pm and then turned on the lights when it got dark around 9 pm and we turned it off and went inside at 11:30 pm. It was ON the ENTIRE TIME and the battery was still going just fine. I don't know how much longer it would of lasted but 4 and a half hours was plenty long enough for me. My 15 year old daughter loved it as well. She can't wait to have an after dark pool party with her friends now. If you're reading reviews then you are considering buying this..... let me save you some time.... JUST BUY IT! UPDATE one year later: I put this speaker away with the pool stuff last season. When we opened our pool this summer we got this speaker out and used it once. Still love it! However, the second time we went to use it it would not power on. Charge light came on but just wouldn't power on. It was about a week before the one year purchase date so I contacted the company and they were WONDERFUL! Replaced my speaker with a working one! I will not be storing this one for the cold months. Instead I plan on using it in my bathroom.

I bought this speaker to not only listen to music while in the pool, but to be able to answer the phone as well. It's so annoying when your phone rings when you're lounging in the pool and you then have to make your way over to where you left your phone to answer it! This little speaker floats around the pool, is connected by bluetooth to your phone so you can take a call with a simple press of a button! The sound quality is decent enough as long as there is no water in the speaker. If there is a lot of splashing or if the speakers turns upside down, you'll need to blow the water out as the sound will be muffled. The lights are an added bonus! This is a cute, inexpensive, water-proof speaker that does what it's intended to do. Worth the money for sure!

I was about to install a stereo receiver in my pool bar, then run speaker wires out to two Yamaha weatherproof speakers. A lot of work, but now I have a far easier, wireless solution with this awesome Bluetooth Waterproof Floating Speaker. We live on an Island / Gulf of Mexico and visit the beach weekly. Simple set up, inexpensive, works as it should. Set expectations accordingly, it's a cheap little speaker/light, not a sound system for a pool. Kids love it.

Update: the seller sent me a new one, and it's worked twice now, so I'll give a couple more stars, but I'm going to give it a few more tries and more time before deciding if it's worth more than that. So far, the sound has been really crisp and loud enough. This speaker worked great once last summer. It had been sitting in my deck box, and I brought it back out the other day. It only played softly for about 3 minutes, and the volume wouldn't turn up. Then, it turned off and wouldn't turn back on, so I figured it needed to be charged, but when I put it on the charger, it started overheating. I unplugged it immediately. It turned on, so I figured it was charged enough to use and turned it back off. It wouldn't turn on the next day, so I put it back on the charger. This time, it overheated so hot that I couldn't even touch it. I unplugged it. It wouldn't turn on this time, and I definitely am not going to put it back on the charger as hot as it got last time.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought these Floating Pool Speakers with Colorful Lights, but they turned out to be a great addition to my pool setup. The speakers float around the pool, lighting up like tiny, colorful buoys. It’s like having a mini light show in the water, which is pretty cool when the sun goes down. The sound quality is actually pretty good. I didn’t expect much from something designed to float around a pool, but it’s loud and clear enough for outdoor use. It even has a built-in mic, which I haven’t really used, but hey, it’s there if you want to shout poolside karaoke commands to your friends. As for the waterproofing, these things are no joke. They’ve been splashed, dunked, and tossed around, and they just keep playing. Overall, these speakers are a fun addition to any pool day. They look good, sound good, and add a nice vibe to the water. Definitely a fun purchase.

This worked great for the first couple of months and then it just stopped working. It won’t even charge. I tried contacting the seller by email. I gave them a couple of weeks to reply. They didn’t. So, I sent another follow up email, to try to resolve the issue. I was extremely kind and polite. Still never received a reply back. Super disappointing, considering I liked the speaker. But, costumer service makes or breaks a product, hence the one star.
