Cord issues, good clock when it works
I bought the first clock and after 8 months or so, it intermittently turns off with any slight movement to the cord. We are gentle with the clock but not sure why it happened. I assumed perhaps my LO has messed with it and we bought a second clock. After 3months, it stopped working intermittently again, same issue. With any small movement of the plug/cord the clock would turn off. We were very careful with the second clock and placed it out of reach of our toddler (who actually does not mess with electronics/plugs). There is no way this is due to user error/abuse this time (and likely last time either).THey do have a 12 month warranty, and I have emailed them and I'm awaiting their response. We clearly enjoyed the clock (when it works) as we bought a replacement for the first but now we have two faulty clocks/cords/plugs.Edit:They do uphold their one year warranty. Thought it was cord so they sent me a new cord. Didn’t fix the problem, so they sent me another clock.

Cute night light
This is a cute nightlight works as it is supposed to mice. Son is not using it properly. He unplugged it when the alarm went off, so there Might be a learning curve, of course. It is still working after having it for a year.

Great clock but beware of some alarm issues
My daughters have generally been very happy with this alarm clock. It is easy for them to read and my 4 year old turns the light on after I tuck her in to play for a few minutes further. When she is ready for sleep, she is able to shut the light back off and crawl into bed (she thinks I'm unaware, but Mom sees all!). I found the clocks to be easy to set-up and give a decent selection of alarm sounds. The alarm itself however, is a tad annoying. The clock has no way to distinguish the days of the week. As a result, there is no way to have it automatically shut off on the weekends, it must be manually turned off the night before by pushing a button on the underside of the clock (and then you have to remember to manually turn it back on the night before you need it) as opposed to the button you simply hit on the side when the alarm goes off. Hitting the side button turns the alarm off at that moment, but it will still automatically go off every single day unless manually turned off. As a result, my entire house has been woken by the alarms on the weekends more times than I will admit because I forgot to manually turn the alarms off the prior evening. One other oddity is that when we have lost power, the clock has maintained the correct time when power is restored, but the alarm function does not reset, it turns off. So, the alarms have failed to go off the mornings following a power outage. Luckily, I use a separate alarm clock and still got the girls up in time for school. If you lose power, you need to manually turn the alarm back on when power is restored. Overall, we like these clocks and I would probably purchase them again.

Great for a basic "sleep" and "wake" clock
I use this ONLY for the sun/moon icons, which I set to 7am and 8pm, and leave on a shelf out of kid's reach. After ~1 month of use, the time holds pretty well. I like that the buttons are pretty simple to use on the bottom, and logical when you need to change the settings (i.e. not read the manual every time!). While it must be plugged in to work, I think there's an internal battery because a short power outage or moving it to a different outlet does not erase the time/settings.The lights are a bit brighter than I'd like and more "blue" light temperature, so I covered it with some trace paper and red marker so it's better for nighttime colors. I also blacked-out all the extra stars and sparkle icons, so that really all my 2.5-year-old needs to see is the time + the sun/moon. It has been working wonderfully for setting expectations of when it's OK to get out of bed in the morning.I like that the night light feature can simply be turned off (so I don't have to black that out, too).

Had issues after 6 months
***6 months Update - The sun and moon no longer work at all. That is the only function we really wanted. The light is WAY too bright. The cord is loose so you lose settings every time it is bumped. Pretty much a waste of money.***After set up and use, here are my thoughts:1) Instructions are clear enough. I had no issues following them with one exception, when you are setting the Sun and Moon “alarms”, they will not appear until the time you set...and then remain on for twelve hours. I first set them up at two in the afternoon and there was no icon on the screen. I thought something was wrong. I expected to see the sun. But at 7pm the moon appeared and stayed on till 7am, then the sun appeared and so on.2) I wanted essentially two alarms, a day alarm (wake up) and night alarm (go to and stay in bed) to function a Mon-Fri time and then a Sat-Sun time. This only has one Mon-Sun alarm.3) I wanted the clock to turn yellow at 7am (alarm one) and show the sun icon all day. This clock will do this but the yellow only lasts 60 mins. We are not using a sound for the alarm yet because he is only 3 yrs old. So if he doesn’t wake in those 60 mins he won’t see the yellow. At least he will see the sun icon.4) Like wise, I wanted it to turn blue at 7pm (alarm two) and the moon icon to come on all night. This clock can do the moon but the clock can’t turn blue unless you use your one alarm for this and even then, it would only be blue for 60 mins.5) I wanted to use this as a sound machine as well. Unfortunately the white noise has to be manually turned on for sleep. Then it turns off with the alarm at 7am. I wish it could be programmed to come on and off like the sun and moon icons. (Update*** You can set the sound to be on ALL the time as well.)6) The light is too bright. I’m not sure we will use it. You can turn it off and not use it as apart of the alarm if you want. It would be nice if the light could be programmed like the sun and moon icons as well. All in all, it’s a nifty little machine. Compared to what is on the market, it’s affordable for what you get. My favorite aspects are the sun/moon icons and that it has white noise. Biggest downside, one Mon-Sun alarm (I never want my kids getting up on the weekend at the same time they get up during the week) and that the clock light can’t be programmed beyond a 60 min alarm.I will keep an eye out for a next generation with a few tweaks. I would love to get one for my daughter.(Update*** This has worked out well for my son. The unfortunate part is most of the functions are useless to us for now. All we use is the sun and moon icons. No light (way too bright) and no sound (he decided he doesn’t like it). I’m hopeful he will get more use out of it as he gets older. Still not bad for the price we paid. My daughter has had the “Tot Clock” for a few years. I like it’s function better but they upped the price to a ridiculous amount. If you have the opportunity to get one for less or a hand me down, do it.)(Update***Sun and moon no longer work.)
