Sonim XP3 Quest Pro Ultra-Rugged Cell Phone (Black)

I got and Sonim XP3 Enduro instead of the Guest Pro. The title of this product is misleading. The Sonim XP3 Enduro I received doesn't have the same specs as the Quest Pro. The Enduro doesn't have among others a GPS, camera or FM radio. Although the price is right, but I didn't get the product which is advertised, and which I thought I ordered. The seller tried to cover the name of the product with another sticker. I'm a long time Amazon customer, and this is the first time something like this happens to me. I'm really disappointed. As for the product itself, It's a good rugged phone. This gets 1 star from me, because of the misleading advertisement.

This is by no means a smart phone, its basic but it did what i needed plus its rugged which was number one on my must have list. It arrived well packed and had all the parts needed to set up on Straight Talk. The only thing missing was English instructions, the phone was set up in Spanish but an e-mail to the seller resulted in a quick fix. It was unlocked and it took just 5 minutes to set up on StraightTalk. I suggest you purchase a screen protector as its still possible to scratch the screen with keys etc in your pocket. I recommend this to everyone 100%..

I canonly give it 2 and 1/2 maybe three stars because It needs a much highed volume for the reciever, it doesn't have speed redial, and i keep hearing beeps like it I am getting another call like for call waiting and there is never another call. I am not tech savvy so it was a bit more difficult to set up than say a motorola but it is closer to what I needed and wanted than the other phones in the industry. I need a phone that won't break everytime I bump into something at work, if it gets wet, if I drop it, or the view screen won't crack and render it almost useless. I have actuallt dropped it and someone behind me accidentally kicked it off of a 4o' roof on to the blacktop below and it didn't even scratch it or make it do anything funny. The battery life doeskinda suck but I just need something that is tough because I don't want to have to replace it every couple of months or when ever the screen cracks. The year befor I bought I suffered with a cracked screen for over a year because I had either lost, or broken 6 stupid cells in the last 5months prior. I think one of them was actually stolen though. Anyway it is a decent phone, If you want some boneheaded smart phone or all kinds of bells and whistles this phone is not for you if you have great hearing and need a durable phone this is a pretty good phone, I have bad hearing and I work in very noisy environments so It is a bit tough to hearwith this phone sometimes, that is my biggest complaint, Also if you want a camera phone this does not have one.That is all I can say about it. not great but durable and not to bad.

Phone is everything I was looking for in a rugged cell phone. My only complaint (if it really is) is that being a serious amatuer photographer the camera isn't required or needed. Other than that it's already recieved the first drop test and passed with flying colors. The bonus is the battery life, I can go beyond 10 days with no problem at all and at my age I'll probably die before it does. They say you get what you pay for and in this case it's certainly very true.

The phone is not what I expected, mine has no camera, and even though the phone came in a hard plastic container the belt clip was broken. To make it worse they claimed the phone was unlocked, when I went to the store to have the services put on it we found out it is not. I will never buy a phone on here again. Now I have wasted my time and have no working phone. I am not happy at all with the way this has worked out.
