Mentalist very enjoyable TV
I watched many short clips on utube and really was interested in the series … it will take a while to complete 7 seasons but I love this character and cast … so glad I bought it… Simon Baker is very entertaining

Way better manufactured set!
I bought the original complete series set at the end of March 2025 (shows Patrick Jane with red background); even though others had issues with it. The one I received also had those issues; totally unwatchable/playable. So I returned it. I wrote a review there with my issues. I was nervous buying this set as it just said it was 'repackaged'. But this set was totally redone. The discs and packaging are way better and most importantly the discs play perfectly! This is a great set and I highly recommend buying it if you want a copy of this great series! =) Thank you Warner Home Video for correcting the problems!

Great Show but Episodes Grainy
I absolutely love The Mentalist and wanted to own the series to catch some of the extras but turns out they are few and far between. Also, as others have pointed out, the video image isn't crisp and seems grainy. I had hoped that by buying the videos the images would be better and cleaner than when watching on TV but it's not the case. If you love the show, it's still a good buy but just know that there is graininess to the image. It appears a new complete series was released this summer - I may buy that one to see if it's been cleaned up.

Great series
One of our favorites! The packaging is a bit weird, but I guess they had to squeeze all those DVDs into a small space! It isn't bad. The discs are in great condition. We're also enjoying the extras (behind-the-scenes, bloopers).

The first two seasons are viewable, however the other five are for the U.S.A market and not viewable in the U.K
