Item arrived on time and well protected double boxing and Styrofoam. Item is beautiful AND heavy. Item has small wall mount brackets on the back but, I wouldn't trust them when it comes to supporting the weight. Your best bet would be to display it on a shelf or desk. Inscriptions are small and you'll need a magnifying glass to read them - if you have that capability. Lovely piece. If you are in to collecting reproductions of artifacts from antiquity, it is a good piece to add to your collection.

I was disappointed with the “gouge” in the stone plus andarkbred smear near the goug. . I have an original from Egypt and this is a poor Chinese reproduction.

At first glance, the piece is beautiful. But there are thicker and larger and more detailed replicas out there and I thought I was purchasing one that was about 2-3" thick. This one measures 5/8" thick. The real Rosetta Stone (fragment) measures 45" high, 28" wide and 11" thick and weighs 1,700 lbs. To replicate something that huge down to 14x10x5/8" and keep the detail is truly remarkable. But under a magnifying glass, the details of the hieroglyphic figures on this replica are not quite there, and in all fairness, it probably is impossible to duplicate the fine details on such a small scale such as this. But for $60, it is very nice wall relief with a working wall mount on the back, and guaranteed to be a conversation piece in your home. I think for about $1,500 you can get a life-size replica. (Museums typically buy these.) Thanks for reading.

This item is GREAT. I read most of the reviews, and searched for other Rosetta Stones in other stores. This one was large enough for a decent wall hanging, and the writing is easy to see.There is one spot that has a dig, but that appears to be on the real Stone as well.One thing to note, this is heavy. Not real heavy but heavy enough to feel like a real item.Now I only have to learn the languages..........

I had a smaller version of the Rosetta Stone - plaster - I received many years ago. Unfortunately, it has long disappeared.This wall relief is very nice. It's heavy due to the bonded stone. Make sure you use a secured wall bracket or hanger when mounting it.

This is a fine product. The text is so clear you can read it in all 3 languages. Even damage to the original is reproduced faithfully. Highly recommended. Thank you.
