Formidable protection barrier
These bags are seriously sturdy, and supple. The sealing zipper almost seems like magic. I had to carry some important documents in public recently, and it was reassuring to keep them contained in the protective shell of the larger bag. I haven't tested out the fire- or water-proof features, but from what I have observed about these bags, they seem like very good insurance against disaster. Even without those features, the bags are very useful for everyday purposes, and for convenient storage of key documents and small valuables. The larger bag is just a little too small for inserting or removing file folders without some bending, but that's a reasonable trade-off for reducing overall bulkiness.

Good quality bags. Seem strong. Zip well.
Nice sturdy bags. Both zip well and they fit my papers just as advertised. I can’t say what will happen in the event of an actual fire or flood, but they seem like a good basic option for storage or important documents. I placed my papers in a freezer ziplock type bag before putting them inside the black bag, for extra protection from moisture. The large one will stay home in my closet; and the smaller one will come with me for an upcoming long/term stay out of the country, to keep my basic paperwork, such as immunization book, passport, and pet vet records all in one place.

Good for another layer of protection
I tested this fireproof water-resistant bag by using a lighter on it directly. It did NOT catch fire, you can even see a bit of a scorch mark on the bag but that ended up wiping right off when I did the waterproof test. So I think it'll do what the seller says, protect your documents from fire - but maybe not from a prolonged fire. As for water-resistant, it floats and after pushing it down to see if it submerges, it popped right back to the top, floating. Water beaded off it. I think it'll do well if it gets rained on, or maybe if there's a fire and a sprinkler hits it. I did submerge it and water got inside, however, Seller does say not to fully submerge it. So that was no surprise. The zipper is great because as you close it, the exposed zipper has a kind of rubbery cover that makes it more sealed (you can't see the closed zipper because of the rubber - I don't know how they did it but it's cool). I think it absolutely would make it through a fire that was put out with sprinklers or even a fire hose as long as it isn't under water. The two bags are quite roomy. You can't see it real well from the pictures but the bottom does kind of open up a little more so it's not flat like a folder. There's also an inside zippered pocket in each bag for smaller items. They are a nice size for documents or other valuables. Pictures in the sink are of the small bag. I would recommend these bags for another level or protection for important documents. I tried to set the bag on fire and it didn't catch fire - just a tiny mark that wiped off. So that was great. It's water-resistant in that it floats and water beads off it - it just can't handle being submerged, but Seller is upfront about that. Knowing that, these are great!

Well-built and sturdy bags
I needed something sturdier and waterproof to hold my documents than regular bags that get wet easily. I decided to purchase these bags and found that they were well made to withstand the elements. Not too sure about the fire part (hopefully not anytime soon) but I think it would survive minimal exposure to fire. To compare the size, I laid down my passport on top of the bags. It will fit a good amount of documents, check books, credit cards, etc. It's actually a good bag for what it was intended to be used for.

Good value and a must for any household
Have had these for a while and due to their size, they fit in tight hiding places. The zipper works well and the material feels thick enough to survive fire.

So far so good, zippers work well and they seem of good quality in its entirety. I guess the real test is with a fire which I am really not that curious about, I would rather not know how just how well they work.

I tried to light it on fire with my lighter. It did not set aflame, though the interior of the envelope did feel very warm to the touch. But fair enough, it is fire resistent, it didn't claim that it dispels heat instantly

2 bags included, one large, one smaller. Strong zippers, thick material, appear to be of good quality . Of course haven’t tested them and hope I never have to.

Good for letter size documents and passports, but the zipper interferes with being able to easily put documents in the large sack. We had to remove the envelope and folder our docs were in to bend the papers to get it in the bag. No way of knowing if it will work against water or fire. It's placed inside a safe for extra protection of documents and ID.
