Very sturdy and should last a long, long time. It does really help my posture. However, they need to make a different one for women. Our bodies are different from men's. It is too tall for me, and I have to put it on over 2 t-shirts in order for the top to not dig into my ribs too hard.

Threw out my back and couldn't easily straighten up without shooting pain. Put this back brace on and was able to pull myself straight without pain. That tight fit and metal supports gave me relief and helped me heal up quicker by taking the strain off my back. I found it easiest to put on by leaving the smaller straps loosely velcro'd to the brace. Pull the 2 sides together in front of your body until synched up comfortably, but you don't have to pull hard. Then take those 2 straps off where they're waiting for you and pull forward to really put the squeeze on to what you need.

I bought this because I have a lower back injury that flares up from time to time, and I also enjoy riding my motorcycle. This brace helps supports my back, and adjusts my posture to a point where my back doesn't hurt when I ride for longer distances. It's equally helpful when moving heavier items. The pad located at the lumbar area actually seems to help quite a bit. I'm glad I purchased this. Highly recommend.

The waist band belt was more effective, but I can see where this belt would be superior if my condition was more severe. I am keeping it in case my condition worsens or I need more support when I am weight lifting. It was a little hard on me dealing with my acid reflux issues. Almost like wearing a corset. lol If I use it in the future it will only be for my heaviest lifting and then I will switch to a belt support for the remainder of my routine to alleviate the acid reflux while working out. For stationary its not a problem, but I believe you should use it sparingly so you dont become dependent on it...

Yes it does very well for your back if you injured it. However if you wear very loose and baggy clothing. If you wear it with your everyday clothing or work clothing, it adds more girth to your stomach. Imagine having an 34 inch waist going up to 38 inches with the belt. This is not a bad belt but I wouldn't recommend it you needed it on a daily basis.

This back brace arrived just over an hour ago, and I’m sitting here writing this review with no pain and finally happy to have relief from my back pain. Over the last several days, my lower back pain has been getting worse, and sitting for even short periods of time has become extremely uncomfortable. My back pain is so bad that it causes my left leg to hurt. After seeing so many positive reviews, I ordered one of these. It is extremely easy to apply, and I really like that. It has the second set of adjustable stretch, bands built into it. This allows it to fit my extremely large frame, and for me to adjust the tightness to be just right. It only took a couple minutes with this one and my back pain was extremely low. Just a few more minutes later in my back pain completely went away. It’s fairly easy to move and bend with this line, and it doesn’t flip up or come undone. Is comfortable enough that I can wear it all day, and tomorrow will be my first full day wearing it. If you have lower back pain, this highly adjustable and comfortable back brace is an excellent option to relieve pain without resorting to medication’s. Highly recommended!
