Excellent belt
Bought this belt to wear for EDC, after a week I'm very satisfied in the quality and ruggedness. I've put this belt through a torture test and even held my whole body off the ground when I strapped it to the rafters. The buckle is excellent but I personally recommend you keep the buckle off center away from your zipper that way you don't get a accidental unbuckle. This did happen twice but since I moved the buckle off center it hasn't happened again. As for weight support of edc equipment, the belt held my fs glock 2 mag holders without any difficulty. Other EDC belt will give you a sag where your holster is and you are always trying to pull your side up. This belt hold its firmly in place and doesn't give any slack, you set this in the morning and by 7pm you are still holding strong with no adjustments.I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a edc belt or a duty belt.

Low profile belt
Really nice belt. The strap is 1.5" wide as mentioned. The buckle is thin, 5/16". Much thinner than all my other belt buckles, it's low profile. I found there are several ways the belt buckle can be attached to the belt. I prefer to thread it so the slack is on the inside, see pictures. I found there is no need to trim the belt, it holds in place really well. This makes the belt look and fit the best to me. A really neat looking belt, versus the sloppy looking belts that fits with one side higher than the other. This belt clip is solid, I don't seeing it unclipping by accident. The release takes a little pressure and you must push in both clips to release it. The belt can go thru one or both slots on buckle but it sits better going thru the outside slot only. And it holds really well. The outside slot had a slider to lock the belt from slipping. Really nice design.Only down side is that you need to unthread the belt to get it thru the belt loops, the buckle is a little large to push thru. Although I tried and I can work the buckle thru but takes too long.

EXCELLENT VALUE
This belt is awesome!!! I was a little hesitant to buy it because I wanted an official Cobra buckled belt. I have another belt with a Cobra buckle so I knew what to expect. This belt was 1/10th the price of my other belt and for my tactical use of holding up my cargo shorts....it works just fine. This belt is a great value and is holding up just fine. I love how easy it is to make bigger and tighten up....I've lost a few lbs and it was very simple to adjust the belt to my new size.....I really like this buckle.

Birthday Present
I got this as a birthday present for a friend of mine who professed to hate gifts, but who was always complaining about their belts. They kept getting those loop cloth belts that are not only irritating to undo, but also unreliable, resulting in my knowledge of his dilemma and idea for a low-cost present that he would at once get use out of, make his life easier and maybe get a giggle out of.All of those things check. When he saw I'd gotten him a present he literally oh no-ed, but when he saw what it was he literally fell on his back laughing. After he got over his giggle fit, he tried it on and seeing it basically functioned like a seatbelt and was secure, he actually started to get excited about it. This is the kind of person whose emotions become even more obvious when they try to hide them and just can't pretend reactions, 100% open book all of the time (to their great dismay), so this could not have been an act.I got this for him about 2 months ago and I haven't seen him without it on since. I pride myself on being a good gift giver, so every time I notice it, I have a little internal yay. Plus, I haven't heard one complaint about his pants/seen him having to hike them up on a regular since and I've even considered getting one myself even though I'm not much of a belt person... it looks pretty cool.

It will keep your britches up for sure
I came across this on an Amazon Lightning Deal after I had been sitting on the fence about ordering one for a few weeks. Yes, the Amazon Lightning Deal price was the point that made me jump right in and order. That being said the belt would be a good value even at the regular price. The webbing of the belt is not overly stiff, meaning that it is not as thick of a material as some webbing material belts on the market. It is far from the thickness of a duty belt material, which also means that it doesn't dig into your waist line if wearing pants of a thinner material. While being a thinner material it has not shown any signs of stretching nor slippage in the buckle, which is a good thing. The buckle is easy to close and open with a solid locking grip as the two ends grasp together.Downside is that each time you put on or take off the belt, you have to remove one end of the buckle as it is too large to fit though most belt loops. If you are accustomed to the free end of the belt being on your left side you also have to thread the belt from right to left through your belt loops which just feels unnatural. It does as designed, it keeps your britches held up and is easy to adjust if necessary once it is on your pants.
