Great with pruning hydrangeas! This is my 2nd pair as I left the first in the rain and it ended up rusting. Overall, it’s petite, feels sturdy, has a nice weight to it without being too bulky, and really nice. I have a small hand so it’s been hard finding shears that I can hold with a spring for long periods of time without cramping. The lock seems child safe-ish, since I have to physically unlock it. But I have not tested it with my kid to see if it is truly child-proof 😬

When I was shopping for some pruners I wanted something high quality that would last. I also wanted something cute which isn’t important at all for the function but whatever lol. I love the color and these feel very nice and high quality and has a good weight to them. They’re very sharp and they’re very easy to use to make precise clean cuts to prune plants. Which is especially important for some more delicate plants so they heal better. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that the outer edges of the pruners are pretty rough and messy looking which was a big disappointment considering the price and how much I do like them besides that. It makes them look cheap and like the company has quality control issues. I’m not sure if I just got a bad one or they’re all like that. I’m not sure yet either if I want to hassle with exchanging them or not. But if you’re interested in these be aware of that issue. If that doesn’t bother you then these are good pruners.

These shears are great! Very sharp and they make clean cuts! I also LOVE the color. Definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a great pair of pruning shears.
