I purchased this item because is Organic and Gluten FreeI was excited to use it for my GF baking but the gumminess of the xanthan gum is not to my likingI am sure its a great product for some but the problem I found with GF baking is gumminess of the bread or cakeNow I make my own flavor from a combination of GF flours and for each tab of xanthan gum I use 1 tab of psyllium husk powder+ 1/2 tab of flax seed powder. The flaxseed I mix with 1/2 tab with 1 tab spoon of water and let it sit until it gets gummyPersonally I get much more fluffy bread without the nasty tasty and feel of xanthan or guar guar guamI would not purchase or recommend this item for anyone who is picky about their baking

Awesome!
This is one of the best Gluten Free blends I have tried! It is not grainy like so many are and so far I have had people tell me that what I have baked with it is very good and they cannot tell it is gluten free. I can substitute cup for cup in recipes and the only thing I have had to change is the baking time. Always has to be at least five minutes and some times more to keep from having the slight doughy texture streaks you will get if you don't bake it longer than most normal recipes call for. Even using the toothpick test doesn't always give you a good test for doneness.Believe me, I was really getting discouraged while trying various mixes until I found this blend. Awesome!

Good brand, but look closely at the expiration date when you receive it.
I like this brand, but what I do not care for is getting a large bag of flour that will expire in less than a month of the day I received it. If it wasn't for an upcoming birthday cake, I'd probably send it back for another bag.

Our favorite gluten free flour blend
I love this flour for baking gluten free cookies, biscotti, pancakes and biscuits. For some recipes I convert from standard flour, like my biscotti, I find adding an extra egg gives it a texture and taste almost the same as regular flour. The best I’ve used so far. Bread is still a challenge although I’ve discovered Brazilian cheese bread made only with tapioca flour and that’s our go-to bread at the moment. We used to buy this flour at Costco as well, but our local store seems to have stopped carrying it.

my first attempt with this flour and the flavor was awesome!!
Thank heaven for Namaste. Finally, FINALLY there is a flour that is tasty and palatable. I made waffles, my first attempt with this flour and the flavor was awesome!!! I have listlessly wandered the GF isles at the groceries and health food stores and frankly the wrapper their bread, etc. come in tastes better than the product. Namaste flour has given me hope again, no gut pain, etc. etc., and it tastes great. I'm going to try making actual BREAD with it next. Wonderful product, I will keep in my kitchen forever!

Yummy but different.
I used this as a direct replacement for flour in a cake recipe. I'm not gluten intolerant but I have some friends that are (plus vegan). Didn't like the result although the taste was great. This chocolate cake called for water added as the last step to make it soupy and in the wheat flour recipe came out to die for but with this the result was much thicker. I'm sure that's because of the different ingredients in the flour. I think I need to modify cooking times or something like that. Just dabbling in the gluten free/vegan thing. I'm a carnivore that eats wonder bread usually. If I could only find a butter substitute that actually tastes like butter I might be more interested.

Awesome ORGANIC GF Flour!!!
I read the reviews & was slightly skeptical when I ordered hoping for the best.I finally made a banana bread & it came out awesome with this flour!!!I've been trying all sorts of GF combo flours for baking & everything has left me SO disappointed but not this flour-I'm done trying combos-the hunt is over. This stuff is great!It is absolutely certified organic-make sure you get the organic if that's the one you're looking for because the packaging doesn't change much between the organic & non organic. Enjoy!

Doesn’t really cook well.
Been gluten-free for about nine months now… Been experimenting with different flours. This one is just weird… No matter how much water you put in it it is always super thick. Not really pourable for pancakes or naan... Have not tried to bake with it… Also it doesn’t really ever seem to fully cook inside. You literally have to cook something like a pancake for 10 or 15 minutes per side and it still gooey inside. Plan to experiment with another flour. The flavor is Neutral . It just doesn’t really seem to ever set up or cook well.
