Funkeyboard Designer Keyboard Sticker - Glowing (Blue)

I loved the way the keyboard stickers looked initially. They were beautiful and the pictures in the advertisement were a good representation of Bree product I bought. The only inaccuracy when it comes to appearance is that the stickers don’t glow even after being exposed to bright light. I didn’t buy the stickers for that purpose though so I didn’t really care.Now the downsides... depending on the type of keyboard you have, some of the stickers may need to be altered to fit the keys like the num lock and del keys. Unfortunately, there may not be a way to trim the size of the stickers down small enough to look good. The biggest issue I had was the durability. In less than a week or two the stickers were peeling off at the edges and looked awful. I was very disappointed.

These stickers are very neon pink. I do like them, they reflect ok... but... I would have given 5 stars if they would actually glow in the dark. I am forever working in a pitch black bedroom while the baby is sleeping and the monitor is just not enough to light the keys up the way I had hoped. It is however better than the original keyboard, just a little. My keys are only slightly different than the stickers available. I will be using a razor knife later to shrink some of the stickers down. My F1 F2 F3 etc. keys have other functions listed and if I cover the other functions up with a basic F1 or whatever number, I know I'll forget that its the volume or what ever shortcut the key is linked to if I can't see it.

Great for hunting and pecking in the dark if you have a laptop without a backlit keyboard.Only 4 stars because there's no Fn/Function (or Apple/Command) sticker, so I trimmed the little heart-shaped sticker that was included and used that (without covering the "Fn" on that key).Also, some of the stickers (e.g., the arrows) were too big for my compact laptop keys, so I had to trim them. Obviously, if you have a full sized keyboard, you'll probably be set, but if you have a small screen (13" and maybe 15"), you're probably going to have to trim 5 or so of the stickers. Not a big deal, but this takes a little more time.Lastly, as noted below, use tweezers and take an hour or so to put these on carefully. If you do that, you'll be very happy. It's almost as good as having a backlit keyboard for your older laptop, and the price is right.

edited: Love these so much I wanted to get another set for my netbook, I tried the blue ones and they don't work at all. I think they lose their glow and stick though over time if they aren't used. I have had these on my laptop for 3 years and they still work. And people that come over seriously think I have a glowing keyboard!Unfortunately the blue ones like I said didn't work, the seller let me exchange, and the pink ones don't glow but also do not stick at all, I tried super glue, and it's a mess. Which is quite strange because the original pink ones I got a few years back on my laptop are still working. I think it might depend on where the seller stores them... So I may buy another pair from a different seller, see if I get a better result.

I occasionally work in a dim environment, so I bought these stickers for my laptop. They DO stand out much better than my normal keyboard's lettering did and I was able to see my keys very well. They're fairly easy to apply if not a bit time consuming; I was able to remove and realign stickers if I didn't get it right the first time. If you're concerned, this did come with a sticker for every single key except my "Fn" button.That being said, I've had mine for a little over a month now and my frequently used key stickers are wearing out: 'A', 'E', 'C', and 'SHIFT' now have white spots on the keys. Soon it's going to look silly and I'm going to have to peel them off and work on getting rid of the adhesive residue, which I don't look forward to.Long story short: great if you use it on a keyboard for moderate use. Not good if you use it for a work or student computer/laptop.

I bought the yellow, orange, and blue keyboard stickers.The blue stickers DO NOT help at all in the dark. They are actually a bit harder to see in dim or dark conditions than the allready impossible to see factory keys. I was surprised about the blue. Order the blue only if you are wanting a color change and not added visibility in dim or dark conditions.The yellow and orange stickers make a huge difference in visibility during dim and dark conditions. At night the lcd screen provides plenty of light for these stickers to make my key searching very easy. Even though they don't actually glow they work nearly as well. I have not used them long enough to determine if they will wear poorly or not.These stickers are quite a bit smaller than the keys on my notebook. They did cover the factory letters and numerals completely. I did not have to trim any of them as other reviewers have stated. They were very easy to put on but a bit tricky to get strait. I did not have a problem peeling them up to straighten them. They stuck back down as before leaving no residue on the keys.I would like to be able to size the stickers, change to lowercase letters, and add some custom media key stickers but, the yellow and orange stickers do exactly what I needed. The Yellow and Orange stickers make my keyboard very easy to see in dark conditions. I would send the Blue ones back if I had not allready "used" a few of them for low light testing on the keyboard.4 stars for the orange and yellow1 star for the blue, because the blue does not help at all in low light conditions

I work consistently on my keyboard at work. Problem is, the letters are pretty gone. My company offered me a new keyboard but I really like my ergonomic wireless keyboard, so I opted for decals. Now, don't get me wrong......I am a touch typist (I don't have to look at the keys to see what letter is where) but anyone sitting down at my desk to work on the computer or help me with a problem, can't see the letters.I think they are a little expensive but they last for a long time and are so easy to apply, Will buy them again when needed. Maybe next time I will choose a funkier color!
