Cops and Robbers

this is a delghtful british children's book in which one of the 'robbers' actually gets away with it and oh, how you want her to! i have no children under the age of 50 except myself and i bought this book mostly for the art, which is brilliant, but i had a great time reading it too and will re read whenever the doldrums hit me. great book. grab one, they're hard to find.

Great for readers of all ages. Our daughter is only 15 months old but she likes looking at the pictures and hearing the rhyming story. She also loves finding and pointing out the dogs and cats that appear on many of the pages - there is a ton to unpack in the illustrations making this a great choice for young readers of many different ages. I hope this becomes a holiday staple in our house!

Beautifully illustrated and written. A great book for both children and the adults who read them this story.

I bought this book 30 years ago for my kids and I thought they would like to have it for their kids now. Well my son now 38 still gets a kick out of it. It brought back good memories for him.

My 5 year old son absolutely loves this book. We've been reading it at least once a day since it arrived! The illustrations are lots of fun because there is a lot going on in each of them, and he likes pointing out all the little things happening.

Love this book ,my mother bought this for my daughter years ago and I just bought a copy for the grandkids . Fun to read with the kids ,they love it.

Ordered this for my grand daughter no problems and would use again. I live in USA she lives in Australia. Ho good is that!

The book arrived damaged so I returned it, but I did read through it to see if I wanted to reorder it. The book was meant for a 2 year old and when I read it, it just was "too British" and would not be easy for a young American to understand the British nuances. I liked the illustrations

Ma fille de 5 ans, bilingue, aime bien cette série de livres avec les voleurs et les policiers. Nous avions démarré avec Burglar Bill qui reste notre préféré dans cette série. De manière générale, nous adorons les livres de cet auteur dont la série sur les Happy Families. Ces livres sont parsemés d'humour très apprécié des enfants.

I grew up reading each peach pear plum and have always loved it ... well this is a new family favourite! :) I highly recommend it!

Pics and story are amazing as always by these 2. Kids (age 9, 7, 5 and 3) love it.
