It made me choose stars. I gave it a 5 because it looks good right out of the box. It is lighter than the picture that shows someones feet in it. They are very thin and the bullnose takes a while to straighten out (as an option you can cut it off). There is no loop and I am happy with that because the others I bought are more like a carpet and the dumb dogs figured out a way to undo the loops with their claws (which are short). Good thing they are cute. The size is good. We do have larger floating stairs and these cover more than the others I bought. I am going to stain proof them and see how they do. The other treads I had previously purchased had the same type peel and stick backing and it held up really well. Hopefully this will do the same. I will update when they wear in a bit.

These didn’t end up working for us, but I still liked the way they looked. We have old wooden stairs that have seen better days and these stair treads didn’t even try to stick to them. I’d blame the stairs, but the treads we bought to try after these are staying in place no problem and without the help of any carpet tape. The lack of adhesion combined with the color being too light for our bilevel entryway stairs (they looked dirty almost immediately) meant we ultimately decided to clean them and return them in favor for a different kind.

I didn’t install because I chose to return so I can’t comment on adhesion. The color turned out not to be what I expected. The lighter white/cream color triangles in the picture are also yellow. Which was disappointing because I really was excited for them to arrive. It was just too much yellow.

I was hesitant about the concept of stair treads generally, but they became necessary for our older dog. These really do look great, are super easy to install, stay put without anything actually having to be stuck to your floor, and wash well. Overall we are incredibly happy with them and would recommend!

Did not stick to my stairs

Sticks well. No damage to the steps. Came folded and left a mark when it was flattened.

Looks great, faded quicker than we hoped.

Ordered the gray one. Color was much lighter than shown in picture. Surface material is worn and shedding even before opened. No adhesion whatsoever. Does not stay in place on wood stairs. Not safe to use.
