I recently had advice from a make up artist about my skincare routine. She advised me to stop using the products I was using and strip it back to just water and these reusable pads. I don't wear make very often so it made sense. I had been stripping my skin of all it's good oils. These pads wash well, they are soft and comfortable to use. Definitely worth the money.

I am loving these pads. They are very well sewed, big (approx. double the size of a normal cotton pad), and work as they should, are sustainable and so easy to wash. The included bag is great for using for storage/washing. I am collecting the used ones in an extra bag and throw them into my normal washing every week. The only downside for me personally is, that there are only three of the black scrubbing pads. Those could have been more for my taste. The pads do remove make-up well, and let go of it in the washing - even my "Smouldering" kiss-proof lipstick.

These are lovely and soft. Feel lovely on my face, but I didn’t find them very good for toner. The product sinks in and/or dries much more quickly than with cotton pads so I wouldn’t recommend them for that. Better for cleansing and rinsing the face instead of using a facecloth I think. They are also really large so unable to find a dispenser for them. I’ll keep these, but will look for some bamboo ones that come with a box. I haven’t washed them yet which is why I’ve left that blank.

I was told to order these by my daughter. They are better than using cotton wool pads. Comes with a bag to use when washing them. Wash up well. Gentle on the skin.

Pros: Second time purchasing (so I don't have to do a wash so frequently). They have a really lovely texture, and unlike another brand I tried, they are just as soft after washing. I use them with cleanser and toner, so occasionally there's a little foundation residue on them, but this completely washes out with no staining. Not tried them as makeup removers though, so not sure how they'd handle heavy mascara or eyeliner. But I'm more than happy with them. Also not used the black pads (exfoliators) so can't comment on those, but the white and green I highly recommend. Also thick enough that the product doesn't just seep through. Cons: I feel that little washing bag that comes with them is really too small to wash them in as there's no space for them to move around in. I may be wrong about this...I'm not a physicist...but I use a larger reusable fine-mesh vegetable bag to pop mine into the machine and that's worked perfectly. Full disclaimer: there was one pad missing from my original purchase, which was a little disappointing, but I didn't complain (and actually repurchased) because there's still a fair few in the pack. The second pack arrived fine, so this may have just been an anomaly.

These reusable face pads are great and I'm glad I made the jump away from the disposable cotton ones. Just to address some concerns other reviewers had, I didn't find them thin or flimsy they are made from two layers of material. It does take a split second longer for the miceller water to soak into them compared to the disposable pads, I just hold it flat in the palm of my hand so it doesn't run off. They wash and dry well, I stack them up in the hot press and that seems to help them keep their shape. The little bag is so handy for washing them so they don't get lost in the machine and I have it hanging from my dressing table so I can put the used ones in it. I bought two sets of these so I always have enough in rotation between washes.
