Keeps the fur at bay
I first found this style of lint and pet hair remover on Taobao years ago, since moving back to the US I’m thrilled to find something similar here on Amazon. It works as well as anything else I’ve ever tried, but is both easy to use and reusable. Gave my mom one for her two cats and she loves it.If you’re familiar with the ChomChom hair remover, it’s similar. The roller is essentially a lint brush with the grain in two different directions. However the ChomChom had a rubber tab that will automatically flip the roller so the brush is in the right direction and gradually work the hair/lint into the storage bin. This brush has a lever that you flip with your thumb. You can brush one way, flip the lever and brush the other way. Flip it back and forth a few times to collect everything in the storage bin. I’ve got both this and the ChomChom, and I find this “wand” design a bit easier or more natural to use.It does a good job on pillows, couches, bean bag chairs, guests you have over, etc. When I do softer items like quilts I lay them flat against a firmer surface like they recommend. I like to give bedding a quick once over before throwing in the washing machine just to keep the majority of hair from clumping in the washer/dryer.When you pick it up, it’s obviously cheap plastic. But they seem to last a few years so long as you aren’t throwing it around. The thumb rest comes off as another reviewer mentioned, so you might want to glue it on before it gets lost. It’s still well worth the $15.

Could be better, but nobody else sells anything similar
We bought two of these, since we realized with our last model (not this brand, it was probably ten years old and was just done), two means we can both de-fur the bed at the same time. Anyway, they are generally easy to use, but I have doubts about durability, and there's definitely some production issues. One came with a spring missing that was meant to hold in one of the two side panels that act as scrubbers. My wife ended up gluing it in place. The other issue we've noticed is that the little blue nub that you are supposed to push on to open the container and slide the slider back and forth, isn't fully secured to the slider. It's just in place with tension, so it falls off constantly from both of the brushes we got. Wife glued those in place too.Otherwise, these are pretty decent lint/fur removers. I wish more people would sell lint removers with this similar design. We've tried other types of lint removers, but this type is by far the most convenient and easy to use.

Love it! Can't live without it!
This item is a must have in a home with pets. i have used it everyday since i purchased it. I also use it on my bed spread almost every night. Keeps down on washing it frequently. Removes the cat hair wonderfully. Anything I can't stand is cat hair getting up my nose, or on my freshly moisturized face while trying to fall a sleep at night. Some times it can't be helped because they sometimes need reassurance for some reason or another, which happens while i am dozing off. But! This handy little item has made my life so much better with two cats in the house. Use it on furnature, bed spread, clothes. Maybe curtains? yes! curtains, they watch traffic out window from back of couch, so cat hair on the curtains. Simple swipe with this item, and cat hair is gone.

Tiny tabs can't hold the 2 hals together for long
This brush did not hold up under once a day use to clean dog hair. Just broke and fell apart because it only has 1/4 plastic tabs on 2 sides and can't take the stress. No way to fix it back.

Not great on loose material
This is a great concept and I like that the stuff goes into the back and then you empty it. The "self clean" function works better than I expected. I got so much hair from rugs and carpet! I didnt have as much luck on my couch cover because it's not taught enough and loose tops while I'm wearing it doesnt work very well. Gets the hair off my pants though!

ok, but not super effective on all surfaces.
the good - it does remove most of the hair and is two directional.the meh - the plastic surrounding is too flush with the cleaner part that you have to hold it just right. Better for rigid items like a couch, but pillows, comforters, etc it didn't really work great. The little plastic knob on the selector popped off on the first use and is now lost.will keep - probably in the car for emergencies, but still looking for something that can handle to level of hair we have (2 Berners and a long hair cat).

Handy gadget
I like this lint remover, I just wish it was a little more effective at removing the cat hair from my jeans as a sticky roller (I have three long haired cats). The cleaning of the roller is easy. All you do is swipe it to the side. The inner chamber removes the lint and deposits it into the container to be emptied when needed. Perhaps I was expecting a miracle so I gave it four stars. It's definitely worth a shot if you don't like all the waste from a sticky roller.

You get what you pay for
This lint remover does work in both direction as advertised however it takes a lot of passes unless you have minimal lint. The sides broke off the first time I used it - I was able to duct tape them on to make this work. I do still use it and because it is working I am giving 3 stars, but cheaply made. I do wish I would have spent a little more to get a better one.
