Great for what it is
This is a fun little fort building set. Perfect purchase for my kid who is spending the majority of her time indoors these days because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Its nice for her to be able to build a little hide away spot thats just for her where she can go read or play. The material is pretty flimsy and its not the biggest indoor fort ever but wasn't expecting steel beams and a mansion at this price.

My child loves it.
Not bad for the price. I would definitely add the "fort tent cover" though. Regular blackest and such are a tiny bit uhhh bendy. Overall not bad for my 5 year old.

Be careful - maybe I should have worn safety glasses when disassembling it
I bought this for my 7 year old grandson. He was able to build forts that were rectangular or box shaped. He was strong enough to push the poles into the balls. His 13 year old sister was able to build the dome shaped fort. But it took her awhile. The structure does work well with sheets as the cover. Blankets were a little too heavy and caused the frame to bend. As for safety - the kids did ok but I , while I was disassembling the fort, while pulling the pole out of a ball, (which takes force because of the very tight fit) the pole came loose and since I was pulling it straight out, the pole end hit me in the eye. Thank goodness for lower eyelids because the injury could have been so much worse.

Sticks struggle to stay in place, fun toy for the kids.
Kids love to make things with them, but they fall apart easily and the holes aren't easily lined up. The sticks will often fall out of the holes which frustrate the kids. If they were rubberized it would fix this problem.

Hours of fun!
Purchased for my kids (9 & 7) because they love building forts and I was getting tired of never having access to my kitchen chairs. The kids love that you can follow the guides given for building or do whatever you want with the pieces. I love that it keeps them occupied and using their imaginations for hours! They've already asked if Santa could bring them another set so they could build bigger forts - if I'm not careful they may turn the entire playroom into a giant fort. Definitely recommend for kids who like building hideouts.

We love it
I was on the fence with this because reviews weren’t that good, but after failing to build the first structure and re-reading the instructions I realized most people are probably just doing it wrong, once you understand how to use the connecting balls it’s so easy to use, my daughter has been playing with it for hours. It was a great gift, recommended

Great idea, but difficult to use.
My 4 year old and I tried to follow one of the patterns on the box. She was so excited about this toy until it turned out she couldn’t put it together because the rods were so difficult to put in the holes on the balls. It was difficult for an adult to put it together also because of the rod/hole connector not easily connecting together. In addition, the rods were very flexible and felt like they were going to break if I applied too much pressure as I tried to put one of the rods into a connector hole. This was a disappointing purchase for us.

Great gift for my son!
My two year old loves the large pieces to assemble the fort. He gets to help with his creativity!
