Sturdy, well made, easy to clean
The metal seems a little thinner than my other Cuisinart pans, but it still seems sturdy enough for thanksgiving turkeys. Easy to clean. Solid handles and the price was right. I got a coupon that made this a steal.

The perfect roasting pan
Wonderful roasting pan. Large handles make it easy to pick up. Super easy cleanup. Can roast a spatchcock chicken with stuffing or vegetables.

Perfect size for 23 lb turkey
Great pan, seems sturdy and it’s not very heavy. Cleans up well. I cooked a 23 lb turkey in it and it fit nicely. I wouldn’t go any bigger than that though.

Turkey Roaster Debate Put to Rest!
If possible I prefer to wait a certain amount of time before I rate a product because, to me, this is the true test of how a product preforms over time. That being said, I only use this roaster once a year to roast our Thanksgiving turkey, so after using it now for two years I can attest to this being an outstanding product. For my budget it was pricey, however, after roasting Thanksgiving Day turkeys for over 30 years, I decided it was time to "splurge" and buy a roaster that was backed by a stellar company such as Cuisinart. I am much more than PLEASED with everything about this roaster; I happen to take extremely good care of it because it was expensive and I want it to last. The roaster still shows brand new two years later. The pan easily accommodated a 23-plus pound fresh turkey this year, and the turkey roasted to perfection! (For a second year in a row!) If you are contemplating purchasing this pan, in my opinion, go for it, you will be very GLAD that you did!

Good Roasting Pan For Price
My husband and I are subscribers to America's Test Kitchen. This roasting pan was recommended by them. White it was not in their highly recommended category (I believe #2?), we went with it due to the price (about half of the #1). We got this mainly for roasting the Thanksgiving turkey and not for everyday use, so felt that this would be an acceptable option for us. The handles do stick out from the sides of the pan, but this was not an issue for us as it fit just fine in our oven with our giant bird (23 pounds this year) and to me it seemed easier to lift out with these handles. I can see where it would be an issue if your oven was smaller, though. It was sturdy and seemed well made. As other reviewers have pointed out, the v-rack is ok. Although, I do not believe ATK recommends any of the v-racks that come with their recommended (at least the top 2) roasting pans. I believe they recommend buying a seperate one. However, we had no issues with it and it cleaned up just fine. We used it on the stovetop to cook down the drippings and it handled this fine (however, there is what appears to be a purely cosmetic scorch mark that will not come out, I assume from the stovetop as it is round). Overall, if you are just planning on using your roasting pan once or twice a year and your oven can handle the size, then I think this is definitely a worthwhile consideration, especially if money is your foremost concern. This seems like a good quality, sturdy pan, and for the price I think it is great. Certainly beats using a disposable or, worse, using the broiler pan that my grandma taught me to use.

Safer than aluminum
What a beautiful roasting pan! Married 40 years and finally purchased a quality pan. I wanted stainless steel, as it is safter than aluminum.

Extremely easy cleanup!
This pan makes roasting turkeys, a couple of chickens or other large items so easy. You don’t have to worry with a foil tray bending and cleanup is exceptionally quick and easy. Just stick it in the dishwasher and it comes out sparkling. No scrubbing needed!

This pan just arrived and I'm so disappointed with the build quality. I purchased a "Cuisinart" brand since they have been known for quality, I've had great Cuisinart products in the past, and did not want a lower quality made pan. Surprise, it's made in China, and clearly not in one of the better factories there. The box was so light when it was delivered, I was expecting the roasting rack only, and may the pan wasn't inside. Nope, all items in the pictures were included, and I think the cardboard boxes are heavier than the actual pan. It says "stainless steel," but it feels like aluminum. I can take my thumb, press on the inside middle of the pan, and physically flex the bottom of the pan. Not sure how this will hold up with heat, roasting heavy birds and meats, etc. Since I purchased this for Thanksgiving, having wanted a better roasting pan, and my options are limited living overseas, I'm kinda stuck with this. I was so looking forward to a great "Cuisinart" pan, and now I feel like I just have to live with it. The box says "lifetime warranty," but I don't know if I'd want a new one when this one does break; and it definitely feels like it will not hold up to years of roasting. If the budget permits, get yourself an All-Clad or a Viking Pan, and don't waste your money on this. Hopefully Cuisinart will return to their formative years and start building solid, quality cookware again in the future.

The handle significantly enlarge the pan size to more than 16 inch. It cannot fit into my oven. And I was virtually impossible to return the item because the appointed carrier did not call me, or pick up the item. After days of half day continuous calling (I could never get through the line) and couple of emails sent with no reply, I finally got through the line today and the person told me that the tracking number is no longer valid and I have to request another tracking no. This really sucks! This is the latest update of the situation - Amazon took action and passed my case to another carrier and the parcel was collected on time and the refunds is received. Thank you Amazon and Cuisinart!

This is a great roasting pan for the price. Just used it tonight for roast chicken and veggies. It's easy to clean--still looks new after many roast dinners! It also fits a small to medium sized turkey. I haven't used my big turkey pan since buying this one! Happy Roasting!
