Q: do you use this product with towel dried hair straight out of the shower or do you air dry for a little while before applying to lightly damp hair?

I put in in after I towel dry my hair. Love this product.

Q: Difference in function/use between "don't blow it fine" and "don't blow it thick"?

No difference, just made for different hair textures.

Q: Is this a leave in conditioner or styling product?

This product is a leave-in conditioner if you plan to just let your hair air dry, naturally. It's expensive for what you get. I found other products (such as Tresemme) which worked better.

Q: does this help with braid shred and frizz?

My hair isn't long enough to braid but it definitely helps with frizz.
