I am trying this for the first time. I've got really bad stage four degenerative arthritis and recently one of my knees was giving me a sharp pain like bursitis on the outer corner of my knee. When I kneel it's like a sharp red hot knife feeling, even after taking diclofenac or Aleve. Anyway, I got this cream and tried it as a hail Mary expecting nothing because the pain was so awful. I rubbed the cream in for about five minutes and noticed a slight tingly sensation on the area. Ten minutes later I knelt on my bed and there was no pain whatsoever coming from that knee! What a shock! I have no idea how long this effect will last but will try to post more later after I've used the cream for a few days to let you know. I might also try it on my osteoarthritic joints to see if it has any effect. The smell is strong, and my dog came over to see what the strange smell was about. If it relieves my painful joints, I really don't care. It's quite a thick cream, more gooey than Vaseline and requiring a little bit of effort to get it to absorb into the skin. I bought this myself so my review is honest.

I have the driest heels ever. I have been walking my new rescue doggie a lot (3-5+ hours per day. She loves to walk!) and my heels started to crack. If you've ever experienced that you know it makes walking extremely painful. I knew arnica is very healing so I bought this because it has the most arnica than the other brands. The difference was dramatic. Overnight my heels were 99% better. I'll have to use it regularly to maintain but at least I have relief. My hands had some cuts on them and just applying this cream helped heal them almost overnight.I also have fibromyalgia and arthritis head to toe so this has also helped with that pain too, especially muscle pain. Ever since my first knee replacement, the right leg hamstring behind my knee has been relentlessly painful, achy and throbbing. Physical therapy and stretching have helped a little but this gave me a lot of relief very quickly. It's temporary, not a cure, but every bit of pain I can eradicate for a while is a win for me.In short, I'll be using this regularly from now on. I wish it came in a vat so that I could wade in up to my chin.I hope this helps someone.

PLEASE NOTE: I initially wrote a 2 star review of this product and returned it without a hassle because I did not like the packaging, ingredients, or texture of it. But I later found out I still had one container of this product that I'd bought earlier and forgotten about. So I decided to use it until it was gone. I did so, and found that the product has grown on me. I still don't like the package or the texture, but it works well for what it's designed to do, and I ended up buying it again.The reason I did is because, although I do not really like the texture of this cream because it is a bit greasy, and the ingredient list includes propylene glycol, it works well and hasn't really irritated my skin. It takes a while to absorb into the skin, but It has several BIG redeeming qualities. First, it does help reduce the pain in my arthritic back, hips, knees and hands, and secondly, it helps to reduce swelling and promote healing. Thirdly, I like the fact that it doesn't smell too bad, and seems to work quickly. But it does take some time to absorb fully on dry, aging skin like mine, so I've found that the best time to apply it is right after a shower or sponge bath with a warm wash cloth.Here is part of my initial 2 star review that is still valid, although I've revised my negative opinion of this product to a positive one as reflected in my comments above, the four stars I've given it, and the more positive headline:The product I received when I ordered this on Amazon in August of 2015 using this product page was not in the same packaging, but in a cheaper looking package with a label that had such tiny and fuzzy print I needed a magnifying glass to read it. But my biggest problem with it was in the ingredients list, which was not like the product label ingredients shown on the web sight at the time. The version I received contains stearyl and cetyl alcohol, and propylene glycol, which is a known skin irritant, while the product ingredient list on this site at the time I purchased it did not have any of these ingredients listed. I see from other reviews that there was a formula change, so I likely received the new formulation.

This cream contains Arnica and other ingredients for pain relief.I have arthritic shoulders and thumbs and occasional back pain.I have found Arnica, in particular to be very effective for me, so I though I would try this.Overall the effectiveness of the cream is just "OK".It works well on muscular pain, like my back, but not as well on bone-on-bone pain like my shoulders. I think it needs a higher concentration of Arnica. Also, it has a slightly unpleasant order, perhaps eucalyptus and the consistency of the cream is very, very greasy.If you have muscle pain, this is a good alternative to Blue-Emu (it contains blue-emu oil as well), but for bone-pain I'd continue looking.I have since has great luck with an Arnica Oil. It's a bit harder to use because it does not stay in place as well as a gel or a cream, but it is significantly more effective and smells a lot better. Relieve Arnica Oil

Love the smell and the texture. Just got it and haven’t had a chance to really use the bottle yet but it seems really nice. The bottle was cracked but it was just on the outer layer so it’s still good.

I liked that it worked right away; I used it for leg pain and it took the pain away immediately. And I like that it's a natural product

Did not stop back ache

I absolutely love this product. I'm skeptical of rub on topical creams for.pain relief but this stuff is the real deal. Better than all the major over marketed brands. Buy buy buy. Instant relief. Everything I get a muscle or joint pain issue my.eife rubs this on for me and it's almost instant relief. It doesn't cure the problem but you'll feel better and get some mobility back. I pulled a nerve or muscle on my neck/shoulder/trapezius area and couldn't turn my head. I was in severe uncomfortable pain and my wife rubbed this into the entire general area. After 10 - 15 minutes I was able to sit up straight and have better movement of my head and neck. I love this product

It smells quite strongly of camphor which I find nauseating after a while and though I tried it because I was unable to get my usual arnica product for some time, it is definitely inferior to that one.
