Performs even better than promised!
I ordered this in a panic at the beginning of a recent long-duration snow/ice and bitterly frigid winter storm, hoping to protect my dogs from slipping off the patio paver steps on their way to the backyard.I was skeptical that it was going to work because I realize the manufacturer states that it is not recommended for brick pavers, nor to use it over gaps but I wanted to at least try it. Also, I wasn't going to have enough advance time to properly clean and dry the steps beforehand (per the instructions) due to the unbearable cold and the storm on the way. I basically just gave the steps a dry dusting with a rough brush and that's it.But the tape has far exceeded my expectations! It was easy to cut and install, and it's sticking beautifully to the steps! The dogs (and people) in my house feel so much safer going down the steps in snowy/icy weather. I sprinkle paw-safe de-icer over the surface and it keeps the tape clear. We've had several inches of snow and the wind chill temperatures have been near negative 40, far colder than conditions the manufacturer promises the tape will withstand. This photo is after installing the tape about 2 weeks ago and it's still holding strong. There is one small area on the bottom strip that has come off but that is only because I nicked the step a little too hard with the edge of the snow shovel. The small missing area is not affecting the adhesion of the rest of the larger part of the strip whatsoever. This has been a game-changer for my slippery, icy steps! And now I'll trust it with other areas around the house year-round!

Excellent grip tape, great for extra safety
The media could not be loaded. Decided to use this for the rather slippery fold-out running boards on my SUV. Worth noting the instructions say not to apply to uneven surfaces, but the backing material is pretty forgiving and very flexible. To apply it along the ridges of the running boards, I lined up one edge and worked it methodically through the surface, exposing more of the adhesive laterally a few inches at a time. It took a while, but the results were worth it, in my opinion. Best to wear gloves for this kind of installation, but probably not necessary for flat surfaces.Grip is excellent, and installation is pretty user friendly if you use a bit of common sense. The yellow stripe could be more retroreflective in my opinion, but does its job well enough. Tape is well constructed and the edges are clean, no jagged lines in the roll. Seems like it'll be durable, but will update if I encounter issues with long term use. I go through automatic car washes regularly, but I don't imagine the tape will create issues or come off too easily, as the running boards retract when the doors are closed. For reference, I bought a 30' roll used about 15' 8" to cover both retractable running boards on a 2021 Suburban. Best to plan for cutting a bit of the starting edge if you want to start with a perfectly squared edge, but the 30' roll should be sufficient to cover boards on two regular length SUVs and most of the extended length ones, if you don't go all the way to the edge.

Works great
I've used this on a wood wheelchair ramp to stop slipping. This has strong adhesive and was easy to install. It has not peeled up.

Helpful at night on dark stairs!
We have these on unfinished deck stairs (exactly where they are not recommended for use), so I'm only going to comment on their grip and glow.We stapled them down to help keep them in place. They definitely help keep us from slipping on the stairs. They glow well throughout the night, but definitely more visible if you're not stepping from bright light into the dark. They did not survive unscathed when we needed to shovel the stairs, but that may be a function of being used on untreated wood where they don't stick well. The company would do better making a thicker product that can be attached to surfaces other than smooth, flat ones, but this works for now. We've had them installed for about 2 months. In that time, there were 2 snowstorms requiring the steps to be shoveled, and several days of rain and ice. Considering that the product packaging says not to use it the way we did, it's holding up fairly well. (Glow pic from when first installed. Daylight picture from today)

Great for safety
I installed this on my hardwood stairs to make it safer for my dog whose front leg was recently amputated. She definitely is more secure going up and down the stairs, and the clear tape blends very well with the hardwood. Bonus, I feel safer going up and down the stairs, also! If you have ever used adhesive paper or window film, this is much easier to install, and repositioning when I went a bit crooked was very easy. I recommend using a roller to make sure you have good adhesion.

Easy to apply
Bought this for a friend. Her porch is 4ft high with 6 steps. She loves that she can see the steps in the dark.

Works as described, I love it!
Great product for safety and it just looks great with the glow-in-the-dark strip on my black staircase. I'll certainly be purchasing more for my other builds!

Did the job perfectly.
You always wonder with a product like this if it will stick good enough. It is always the tell tail sign of high quality. I can honestly say this is high quality.

Transparent, no slippy slippy schtuff.
As I sit here with my nekid butt on my brand spankin' new sticky stuff, I'm going nowhere. Fast!As soon as I got home from work, I opened the package and there was this big, wide round thing, and it looked white. After removing the double clear plastic covering, I discovered a pleasantly rough surface.Directions say clean where you're going to put it (so I did). Then cut to desired length, round the corners, peel the back off, and stick that puppy on. I took some creative liberties, peeling back only a little, positioning as best I could, then slid the rest off. It was glorious. Now, you'll want to get any air bubbles out. I recommend something hard, and plastic. Maybe something that doesn't get used often? An expired credit card, a stucco scraper, or better yet, a Pampered Chef scraper. Those things are AWESOME. You can use them for just about anything! It's like those grocery bins you get, and once you get them home you use them for anything but, and next time you're there you have to buy more. I digress. First, use your tool of choice to move back and forth a little. Once you've done that a while, move onto the full length of your item. Take a closer look for air pockets, as it is dang near completely see through. Like the water that goes over it.Admittedly, this is the first time using it, in my 6', two person, soaker tub. Sadly I have no one to join me for an additional review. However, in 43c water (sorry for any of you Americanites who don't get that, Fahrenheit is foreign to me) - it hasn't lifted. So, obliviously, you can't see it in the picture, it's just that dang good. Of course, when you're used to slipping and sliding, it can chafe your buttocks. Don't do that.Sorry for the verbal diarrhea. I guess it's not verbal though because it's typed. I hope you have a WONDERFUL day. Remember, "It is what it is; you can only do what you can only do. Make the worst situation the best it can be." (me, during and after losing my wife to cancer last year at 44).Keep on keeping on. Except wherever you put this schtuff. You ain't goin' nowheres!

Less quantity Just half i.e. 15 foot instead of 30 foot.
Quality is OK, but quantity (length) is just half as mentioned in product description.

Underwhelming
Bought this from the reviews, after replacing the current stuff every 3 months or so.The old stuff was at least twice as wide, and a whole lot more for the same price regionI'd return this, if I hadn't had to cut a piece off to try.Nice visible stripe, but shockingly poor adhesion to a stone step.Perhaps it's just not the best medium for this product, but the overtime similar price, and the far exceeing value one certainly was....
