Worked great
Worked a treat with my M1 MacBook Pro and logic, totally plug and play with no issues.

I use this cable in the most basic way.
This cable allows me to take the midi output of the Arturia Beatstep pro sequencer, via the 3.5mm adapter and split it and send midi clock to a modular synth (via a Doepfer midi to cv module) and an Elektron Rytm mk2 at the same time.It works very well in this regard keeping everything synced, without having to use a powered midi thru box !

Good quality cable
The cable I passed on to the PA system manger at the community centre. Who was pleased to be able to check this MIDI splitter out. The is a fairly substantial PA system there.Supplied here is a short cable to split one MIDI cable feed into two. Just the job for adding an additional MIDI device to a set up. Used to add an additional sequencer to a keyboard, and tested with a microphone and my laptop recognises both. Cable feels well made. For the price 5 stars.

This DigitalLife cable features a male MIDI connector to a pair of female MIDI connectors, enabling MIDI out to two (or more if daisy chained) devices, making it ideal for a MIDI Controller output.The technicalities of MIDI ins & Outs may be a little confusing to the layman, so do ensure that this is the right cable for your needs, as it doesn't operate in a two-way manner.The cable is short, and divides at the midpoint - short may mean less leeway in positioning of equipment, but on the other hand the shorter one can keep the length of cables carrying MIDI messages the better, as the less risk there is of signal degradation or dropout.This connector checks out as fully functional. The materials and construction are pretty standard, they will certainly do the job for most people - although professionals looking for gear that will last a long time in a pro working environment may opt for something a bit more robust.
