BLITZART X-Plore Electric Skateboard Longboard 17mph Range 350W Hub-Motor 3.5" 90mm

This board, after much research, still provides the best value entry level electric board option for most adults. Quick summary on me...190 lbs, 6'3", some skateboarding ability. My only issue with this board is the battery. Followed the charging instructions and just incurred one too many failures over the weekend to justify working through requesting a battery swap. This was a bummer because the couple of times it held up I was flying. It's a great board. Note that you want to keep this board away from any moisture exposure. Not a huge problem but curious what it would take to adjust the casing design for the battery to allow for any water to wick away / out of the casing. I'm returning this first purchase.Because I was so happy with the performance when connectivity / holding a charge was not an issue I will likely be ordering a replacement one, in hopes that my first purchase was just a defect.

12/1/2017 So I am bumping my review of the board back up. The customer service has been great so far. They explained that they did in fact have a battery issue, and they will be sending me a new battery. They got back to me almost immediately and diagnosed the problem quickly. If the new battery works and holds up, I will bump my review back up to five stars because the board is soo much fun to ride and everything else about it was as advertised.12/1/ 2017 I am sad to say I have to revise the review of the board below...after 1 week of light riding, the board has died. It will no longer accept a charge and won't turn on. The on off button does blink when pushed, but won't stay on. We can't ride the board now. I am soooo disappointed. I have reached out to Blitzart. I hope they can help. As I stated below, I bought this for my son's 16th Birthday. It was delivered on October 24th, and he opened it a month later. Unfortunately, Amazon has indicated that the window for return has expired. If Blitzart helps, I will update this post.Original reviewBought this for my son's 16th birthday. We love it. I am going to have to buy one for myself. It's pretty fast. I clocked my son doing 18mph +/- on flat land and 15mph+/- going up a decent hill. The board looks great, rides great and is just a blast. As far as the charge goes, we have not run out of battery on a ride yet. I tend to not engage the motor when going down hills, so I extend my ride time/distance that way.I recommend this board for anyone who wants a great board to commute on.

This board is definitely worth the price. I was skeptical at first considering the low price but after a few months with it, nothing has happened with the controller or the battery. Being a college student, I use it almost everyday and the only thing I notice is that the bolts become a bit loose but you just have to make sure to tighten them every now and then. Compared to other electric boards that my friends have, this one is the lightest by far. The only downside is that since it's 1 motor, it tends to skid every once in a while so just be careful but other than that, great board and reasonable price.

Very Fun but had some battery issues after just 2 rides. I replaced the battery yesterday and all is good for the 1 ride. My review will be updated in a few days. Within 2 weeks of riding the motorized wheel is warping and the motor is making a really weird noise. The price is right and crap for product. I’m bummed because I found I enjoyed the idea with a very few successful rides. 2k is beyond my budget for a good motorized board.

I bought this board in mid-june 2019 and it actually blew my mind after few hours of running in high I started to notice the board was getting faster I kept checking my speedometer app and I've maxed out at 22.9 MPH I am 6 foot and 185 IBS though since I am a little heavier it roughly makes it 6-8 miles. due to user error, I overcharged and discharged the battery one too many times and wrecked the battery by late august. I bought another for $80 from there website and have been much more careful. as I went into winter I didn't care I bashed the hell out of this thing and still do doesn't go much about a 10-15% incline and one wheel drive it weird to get used to because it loves to carve left on the drive wheel but not at all on the opposite side. I've but three people on it and it kinda went with a good push then it did like 8 mph in high on and in low it does about 8-10 mph. anyways back to winter I used to put hot glue strips on the drive wheel and go around the neighborhood with no issues this is when I had icy and compact snow. ik its not waterproof but I've basically surged this thing and kept riding miles with no issue but the sticker on the inside the say ( will turn red when wet) was very much red so id advise that you silicone or sealed the battery case somehow oh and be careful with the water because the bearings got ruined like any other bored would

These are awesome! Got this for my 9 year old for Christmas and he loves it! They are a lot of fun and ride so smooth. For adults, it isn’t as difficult to ride as I thought and I enjoy it too! We bought 2 of them and it is fun to ride around the neighborhood together! The skateboard is very durable and the hand piece is too. We use them almost every day. I contacted the company to ask a question recently and got immediate response. Very good customer service!

I've actually bought 2 electric boards from them and have been extremely happy with both! The board is reasonably priced and the quality is great. My kids love these boards and are on them daily. I'v been on them as well and at 230lbs there haven't been any issues. When my daughter gets old enough I'll probably buy a third. Good work BLITZART!Happy Dad

It's a good board. Travels about 17mph on the high setting. Nice big wheels allows the board to cruz right over large cracks and debris. Occasionally in the remote control will loose the connection with the board causing it to loose power. This has only happened a couple of times at the beginning of my ride. I would turn the switch off and then on again and it would fix the problem. I needed to lossen the trucks when it arrived because it was way too tight to make 90 degree turns going 10-17mph.
