The ABC of African & Caribbean Food

I bought this book for my 9 year old daughter and she loved it!It is so informative, it has wonderful illustrations and is a great way for child (and adults!) to learn about different African and Caribbean food.I would wholeheartedly recommend this book, it’s fantastic.

The ABC of African & Caribbean Food is absolutely awesome!The book explores traditional dishes, fruits and vegetables which originate from different countries from Africa and the Caribbean.Boys and girls will both like it! It's easy to read, pictures on every page and I love the illustrations. I think ages 3-5 will like this book but older kids (6-9) would also enjoy the book as they can identify with the foods in the book and also learn about it in the glossary.

Purchased 2 of these a while ago, as gifts for my friends children. They said they were perfect and the boys loved them. They even learned from the books, just as I did, before giving them as gifts. The pictures are beautiful. Will definitely purchase more as gifts. Such a thoughtful book. Amazing job, by this author!

Absolutely loved this book, the bright colourful pictures with many different foods from all over africa and the caribbean. Got this for my nephew and he loves it!!The back pages with all the details of each named food is great for adults too learnt a thing or two!

An amazing first ABC book for my granddaughter. Also great to teach and learn Caribbean/African foods. Well done to the author. Long overdue.

I’m in love with this book. The colours used are good for keeping the kids interested and wanting to learn more. There are even foods included that I either haven’t heard of or call it something else. This book is worth every penny.
