Great product, even better customer service
We've used this voltage regulator consistently with our RV since buying the device a year ago, and it does a great job - works as advertised, protects our trailer systems from sagging voltage as specified. Exactly what we needed.Recently, however, our regulator stopped working. So, we contacted TRC to ask about it, and they immediately offered to repair or replace the unit if we'd just ship it to them. That seemed more than fair, so that's exactly what we did. Once they had the unit, they promptly repaired it and returned it to us at no additional cost. Can't say enough good things about the product and the folks behind it. We'd definitely buy another TRC product.

Works great
It has been working great just as advertised, it's just a voltage regulator with min and max voltage for proection. You need to add surge protection in front and behind this device as well.

Not a Happy Camper
Had this regulator for over a year now and I can honestly say it's not worth the money. When I first got it, it worked intermittently, My air conditioner compressor kicks out at about 106 volts. That's about when the regulator decides to kick in. So the regulator does a quick on then off. I called tech support about this and possibly adjusting the threshold level and was told there was nothing I could do or could be done. I have looked into buying a Hughes Autoformer which seems to be a better regulator at a lower price. I'll update this review when I get the new regulator.Update 3/27/17This update is later than I planned but, I wanted to fully test the Hughes Autoformer. It's been almost a year and the Hughes does definitely work better. More sensitive to electric load changes. In my opinion, the Hughes Autoformer is a better choice.

30 amp surge regulator.
I've only used it a few times. So far it has worked as said. I've had a few times when the regulator was at approxamatly at 100 volts and it didn't come on very quickly. Many times it has surged to a save limit within the green zone. Still monatoring.I like the concept.

I guess it does what it's supposed to do. ...
I guess it does what it's supposed to do...kinda heavy and bulky, but we're using it when not hooked to residential shore power.

Returned it. Plug didn’t match description.
Plug didn’t match description so I returned it. It appeared to be built well but...I’ll never know if it’ll work since the plug was wrong.

Worked Perfectly
I've only used my booster once, but it worked perfectly. The voltage was down to about 109V and the air conditioner sounded like it was struggling. I plugged in the booster and the voltage went up to 120V and the air conditioner sounded much happier. It seemed to put out more cold too.

Works great for boosting power when voltage drops below 110
Works great for boosting power when voltage drops below 110. I use it when hooking up my travel trailer to outside power source. Highly recommend.
