Stay well clear!
Do not waste your time and money on this product. The panels are poorly constructed and very flimsy, alot of the boards were split. The roof is only thin chipboard - approx. 5mm or 6mm!! To help support the roof there is only 2 strips of timber (approx. 25mm x 25mm sections) supplied so you'll need to do some alterations yourself to ensure it'll last. The floor is sterling board which when wet starts to disintegrate - and it will get wet because there isn't a proper door stop all round the inside of the door.Theres nothing supplied to fix the roof to the wall panels so if the wind gets a hold of it the roof will offer to lift. The supplied door latch isn't big enough to get in the smallest of padlocks, i couldn't even get a nail in the hole to keep the door shut so had to use a twig until i could get to the DIY shop to buy a bigger one.I've had this shed for 6 months and i wish i bought one from a garden centre now so i could have seen the quality before parting with a large sum of money.

Wouldn't buy another one.
Wood for the edgeing was close to snapping where there were knots in the wood. Had to replace some if the side slats which bowed badly when the sun got on it.

Honey I shrunk the shed!!!!!!!
So, having purchased my "8x6" Forest Garden Apex Security Garden Shed I now find not only are we WITHOUT ALL fixtures and fittings but the same shed has shrunk to 7'6"x5'9", did this happen when it was dip treated, I know much of my clothing does when washed at 60 degrees but this is ridiculous. As no one is available to contact at Forest Garden until Monday, I have had to pay out for fittings from Travis Perkins in order to allow the lads to assemble the shed this weekend as planned as we are working to tight timescales. Additionally had we have realised that the shed was smaller than previously stated we wouldn't have laid out the bricks for the base in the way we had, requiring us to relocate both cement and brickwork.

Spend more money on a better shed.
I was disappointed. This shed was very poorly made. Flimsy floor, rear batons were broken. Screws and nails had not even hit there target. One batch of screws in the kit were no good, the heads were malformed. Some of the lapped slats were not even over each other. My advice is to spend more money and buy a better quality shed.

Not the best Shed on the Market!!!
Very flimsy shed, I took down a much stronger and sturdy shed to put this one up, first thing I noticed was the floor was made of really thin OSB,so thin in fact, that when I was putting it all together I trod on the floor and it bent then snapped, also the overlap didn't really overlap, it was twisted contorted and full of gaps, which was clear when you went inside one the roof was on, it let in loads of sunlight, spiders, flys and after 2 days of being shut I came into a colony of snails making themselves at home in there, big gaps!!!!! Believe me.Another downfall was the roof had no real structure or support, just two pieces of thin OSB screwed on to either end of the shed apex's. I ended up using nearly all the wood from my old shed to fully strengthen it including the floor, but now the kids are constantly complaining of splinters off it and to be fair I have my fair few myself. All in all a poor investment, though it was delivered fairly quick. If I had to put a price on it, I would say it was worth about £100, and more ideal as a garden store, than a tool shed. Sorry !!!

Some issues
The shed is ok but a few issues. The instructions were poor, the felt was stuck together and I had to get some more to finish the job. The plastic for the window is really poor and very cheap and doesn’t do any sort of job.

Easy build
Item was delivered on the date and time arranged with the seller through an internet link. It arrived covered in mould and invertebrates on the untreated roof section, thankfully it all brushed off with some elbow grease and has no lasting effects. Erection of the shed was fairly straight forward. The missus started me off going with one corner and I was able to finish the rest on my own. The window is only flimsy plastic but it will do for me as it’s in a fairly secure location and I’m not keeping anything valuable in it although it didnt fit 100% squarely in the frame. The roofing felt seems adequate, it’s not commercial grade but it is fairly decent quality. It all fit together really good to be fair, fortunately I had an 8 x 6 base of slabs that made it really easy to line up with. The walls aren’t very heavy duty so they will need strengthening if I am to install any shelves directly on to them. All in all as a shed buying, building and using experience I’m very happy. Only four stars due to the time spent removing the mould and spiders.

Very good but...
Generally really good.I have only marked it down by 1 star due to1) the main 50mm screws could do with being a bit bigger and more of them. I bought some fatter screws of the same length and put in a few extra screws than the instructions say - the floor pieces it said to only use 2 but I used 5.2) the lock arm is a bit flimsy and the security screws are of poor quality. Also I had informed Amazon and the supplier to ensure the courier would need to put the delivery of it at the back of our house as my wife who would be about wouldn’t be able to move it. On arrival the courier was very miserable and this info hadn’t been passed on to him, he did reluctantly put the delivery where we wanted it to go.
