HUSKY TOWING Liners 81147 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack, Black

I did a lot of research before buying a bike rack for the hitch of my '04 Envoy and picked this one for price and ease of use.I only gave it 3 stars because I did have to modify it a bit as it was too tall for me to get bikes on/off without being on tiptoe or on a curb (I am a 5'5" woman). About 6 inches was removed from the pole going into the hitch. The bikes are still safely being carried but I don't have to worry about injuring myself trying to load/unload the bikes.Right now I only use it for two bikes but like the fact that I can add on a piece to carry 3 or 4 at a time if needed.

Excellent if you intend to attach 2 bikes,I struggled to put 2 adults and one kid bikes,It is much easier for me to put the kids bike in my trunk and attach the 2 adults bikes on this thing,I didn't even try putting 4 bikes on it because the attachments are too close.

Bike rack is very sturdy. It supports up to 4 bikes quite well using the extender that is included with it. I wanted a heavy duty bike rack and this fits the bill. I would simply point out, as others have, that its sturdiness makes it heavy meaning someone of small stature might find it difficult to mount on their vehicle.

Can be hard to get bikes on and off if the center piece of the frame is too close together, if you know what I mean. But overall well built husky quality; and you can remove a two bike section to make it smaller. Use it on a dual hitch receiver to tow a camper and carry the bikes on the same hitch.

Only issue is it rattles a little but ok. Holds bikes strongly and secure!

Able to mount 2 adult and 2 kids bikes just fine. Setup and installation was easy. Good deal for the price.

So happy with this purchase. Easy to install and it has given us so much freedom. The only drawback was it didn’t fit one of our bike’s because the cross bar is not a straight bar design. Just be sure to check the design of the cross bar for bikes to be loaded. If it is a funny angled pipe across, the bike will not fit in the “cup” to lock.

Liked the ability to lock the bikes on and easy to use. The only complaint I had was that it did not hold 4 mountain bikes that have husky frames. It would probably suit to have 2 adult bikes and 2 kid bikes. We did fit 3 adult sized mountain bikes but not 4.

I agree. The Best Bang For you buck. I’ve used this for 3 years but gave it to a friend but never returned. I bought this again. It’s solid. The only downfall that it doesn’t fold when bikes aren’t used. I believe this is far superior to other ones on the market. I am happy I found this on Amazon because it was $20 cheaper.

We used this to travel with our bikes an totally loved the fact you don’t have to dismantle it to get in the back( I have a Jeep) all you have to do is take a pin out an drop it down an u can open the tail gate without taking the bikes all off !!! I freaking love this! Best purchase !!!

Pros: Sturdy, relatively light and good priceCons: Wobbles a bit, I had to buy a hitch tightner and Hitch Pin not included
