I have been taking Herbolab's Maca capsules for about 6-7 months and it definitely is working as advertised. The Maca capsules are helping (along with Herbolab's Tongkat Ali capsules) to regulate and balance my hormonal system, increase my energy and stamina and definitely increase my desire. I have said in another review for another supplement (since I talk all of Herbolab's products) that each supplement they offer focuses on different or complementary areas. Herbolab is definitely a supplement that has increased my desire (sex drive). As I also have stated in other Herbolab reviews, I only take 1/2 the recommended dosage and still feed the benefits (i.e., I only take 2 Maca capsules per day vs. 4 that are recommended and still feel its benefits). Herbolab Maca also helps with energy/stamina (notice it when I'm working out at the gym) and with creating a higher volume of ejaculate (and so probably sperm motility as well which can be important if you are trying to get pregnant). Lastly, all of Herbolab's supplements are high-quality products made from higher and better quality ingredients and include the best processing methods for making them. I highly recommend Herbolab Maca!

So while the tongkat ali product they produce is intended to increase your testosterone level, your body may grab up all of the testosterone so that you have no FREE testosterone to do what it needs to do. This is why as part of your testosterone replacement regimen, you need to be taking maca. From the research I've done, this maca is the best quality and most reasonably priced on the market and I've been taking it regularly since August. Along with tongkat ali (tongkat dosage is 10 days on 5 days off 10 days on 5 off every month), I have noticed a definite boost in energy during my workouts. I will be able to report back the results after I have my bloodwork done again shortly.

I have been using a variety of maca powders for the past 3 years. I was curious to try a black/purple maca after listening to a podcast from the superfood hunter, Darren Olien.The very first thing that I noticed is that the potency of this product is very high. 2 pills of this product is far more potent than 1 tablespoon of a gelatinized maca powder. They also have benefits that go beyond the standard tan maca. Black maca has an incredible aphrodisiac like effect. I would say that the effect is similar to an extract of fenugreek. It has uplifting qualities that you can almost immediately feel. While there is not a lot of research on this topic, my guess is that it has to do with the fact that black maca has hormone regulatory effects. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product, unless someone is super sensitive to adaptogenic substances.

Originally I bought this maca to help increasing energy. I bought it in combination with tongkat ali and the results were pretty good: I have more energy, libido and much better mood. Since I was taking tongkat ali and maca at the same time, it was difficult for me to tell if the effect was coming from one of them or the combination of the two.My wife gave this maca a try and she also had some positive improvements in energy, mood and libido (not that this was a problem for her, but even so it has increased). So maca is definitely contributing to the improvements I am experiencing.I bought herbolab maca because it’s mainly made from dark maca roots which are known to have more sexual health properties as other types of maca. My wife and I can definitely notice the improvement since we started taking it. I highly recommend this maca to men and women looking for more energy, sexual performance and overall well being.

Maca has countless health benefits and will likely start becoming one of the superfoods being talked about everywhere in the near future. (Like chia, flax, quinoa...). I’ve been a powder Maca user for a few years mixing into yogurt or even in plain water. The pills seemed like a great option to get a bigger serving when I didn’t want to have to carry a powder around. Recommended serving is 2 pills twice a day which would be a month supply in the bottle. I’m starting small with 1 pill twice a day. My stomach has not been upset at all and the pills are easy to swallow. Highly recommend buying to start getting the health benefits

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks along with an entire stack of other supplements. I am not sure exactly what the Maca is doing separately from the other supplements, but I seem to be needing less sleep.The thing that I can say about this product is that by doing a bit of comparison shopping between other brands, it appears that the Herbolab Maca generally has a higher concentration (1:6 root concentrate) and a higher percentage of dark roots (95%) than other brands. For example, I believe that BulkSupplements Maca is predominantly yellow roots. I need to educate myself further to see what this means with respect to expected efficacy. Meanwhile, I think that this is a good product to start with for anyone wanting to try out Maca because HerboLab seems to care very much about customer support and verifying the quality of their products.

I have read a lot about MACA and watched some YouTube videos especially the black MACA and how much its very important for gaining extra energy and improve the libido for males im talking about my self here :P it helped me a lot actually as i felt the difference within 10 days only! i'm so impressed about the company and how much they are committed towards their customers unlike the others ( commercial company ) who is selling poor quality products just to gain more money.Good job Herbolab !!!

While this brand’s Tongkat Ali does seem to be superior to others on the market, I thought their maca capsules were nothing special. Same fancy packaging - the most expensive-filling supplement bottles I’ve encountered, neat capsules with the familiar maca smell... but despite all their claims, didn’t notice any difference.

Arrived very quickly and well packed.I'm about 2 weeks in to using it and have not experienced any negative side effects.I think energy levels have improved after a week or so of use. It is gradual and not immediately noticeable.Pretty good overall
