Cold job
It does a great job.It does keep things cold for a long time. This is the best block of ice that i've ever had.

Keeps it cold!
I bought this to use in my Yeti cooler, and I am happy to say it works great! My drinks stay cold for hours even when my cooler is outside. It feels really durable and rugged, so I’m sure it’ll last for years.

Minifridge minus the noise!
I’ve had these two very large green ones for almost a year and I feel I can write a review now. I bought two of the largest green ones, and after 12 hours, I switch them. One is always in the freezer, and the other one in my room cooler. Keeps everything cold for 12 hours minimum (chicken, eggs, leftovers, drinks, vitamins, etc.) so I don’t have to deal with trying to make room in the fridge from my roommates’ items! All I put in the fridge is my one green ice pack (in the freezer) and they can use the fridge as they please! And I can get whatever food I want in my cooler (see picture) in my room! No mini fridge humming noise at night not letting me sleep (tried that, this method is no extra electricity AND it’s quiet in my room now). Thank you for this technology and wonderful ice packs!!

These work well, not as good as regular ice, but they don't get my stuff wet
In the grand scheme of things, plan old water that gets deep frozen in a -11 F freezer will last longer than these ice replacements. But Ice makes things wet, don't fit in the cooler around things as well, and have their own problems. I use these either stand alone for thinks like hunting trips where I need to keep the meat cold without getting it wet, or as a supplement in my cooler with ice cubes and blocks. I would, and probably will buy these again.

No more ice hassles
I have had several of these for a few years and now most times I don’t have to bother with ice. Think about that. I’m fishing every day in Louisiana with my 24 quart Yeti in my canoe or beach cart. Every day I switch out a big Arctic Ice, compared to how I would freeze a new block of ice every night to pack the next day. Keeps bait and drinks cold all day and thru the night. No more freezing up block ice for the next day. One less delay to get my line in the water. For a couple day trip with my 65 quart Yeti I put in 3 and that has worked well. Keep in mind I pre chill my coolers with a frozen milk jug or two before putting in the Arctic Ice packs. No matter what you use always prechill a cooler unless it will only be used for a short while. I also just bought a couple smaller AI packs and may add one of those to my fishing cooler along with the big one on really hot days. I often clean my fish on the beach and chill the fillets on the spot. Don’t know if I’ll need that extra chill under that circumstance but I’m ready.

People misunderstand how these work.
These work really well, what people fail to realize is that it isn't a regular ice pack. It seems like a lot of people on here are probably buying a single ice pack and expecting a lot. This ice packs doesn't make things cold like a normal ice block. An ice block sheds its own temperature to make things colder, Arctic Ice packs absorb warmth. So if you take on of these and throw it in a 45qt cooler, theres too much warmth in there to absorb and it wont work how you want. When I originally bought these the company themselves told me I should get 4 total for my pelican 45qt. I have used 2 for weekend trips just fine, and will get a third this year. Prechill everything too, especially if your only using 2 like me.And when you see it looks melted, that doesn't mean it isn't still doing its job. It works until it is 100% liquid again.

It works great for this
I've bought a few different sizes of these. There's definitely the convenience of being able to throw this in the freezer and pulling it out to have ready for your cooler. It works great for this. In the past I have used bottles of water that I have frozen to use in the place of ice. These work great too. I was under the expectation that the artic ice would last longer than the frozen bottles of water or ice in general. It's hard to tell if they last longer as they thaw just like the frozen bottles of water. They are nice to use to line your collar sides and bottom with. They are also convenient as mentioned but I don't think last much longer than the frozen bottles of water.

by the end of the day it was still cool inside and still kept my water bottles sitting next ...
I've been using this for four months every Saturday and Sunday in a 30 quart Coleman cooler. I work a farmers market from 8am to 5pm in Texas summer heat both days. This keeps my water and whatever I need to keep ice cold, cold. Sometimes I'll throw in a small blue ice pack if I need to use that in another soft sided cooler for fresh veggies. Yesterday morning I had to run and pick up 2 gallons of milk from a farm (2 hour drive) and used the Arctic Ice pack. I forgot to put in the freezer last night and needed to run some errands and pick up some cold items today. It was still cold from yesterday morning and so I left it in the cooler and threw in a small blue ice pack. I left at 9:30 a.m. and it was 1:00 p.m. before I finally got to the store to shop. Even sitting in my hot car while running in and out of other stores, it was still cold enough to put frozen vegetables, ice cream and other refrigerated items in and keep them cold till I got home. The last couple weeks I've moved it to a Coleman Xtreme 70 quart cooler to keep my pastries cooler with our temps hitting 100. Considering I had to open and close it often to remove and replace the pastry containers out to serve customers or get my water, by the end of the day it was still cool inside and still kept my water bottles sitting next to it ice cold. There was no room for a blue ice pack to help out.

this is not what you will receive when your order a pack of coolers.
I ordered a pack of .75 cooler and only 1 turned up.

I’m not sure?
I bought two and one has leaked from the sealed top when it started to defrost. I’ve only had a couple of uses with it.Other than that—great ice packs! Stays frozen for hours on end in a rotomolded cooler.

Didn't quite stand up to the hype. Lasted about a day and a half before we had to put it in a friends cooler in his RV.
