CREATABLE WORLD GGG56 Deluxe Character Kit Customisable Doll, Creative Play for All Kids 6 Years Old and Up, Blonde Curly Hair

I first came across the idea of ‘gender neutral’ dolls on a doll forum when I was researching and this led me to the Creatable World range on Amazon. I wanted to buy something different to amuse my eight year old granddaughter when her mother, my daughter, went into labour with the new baby, so decided these would be ideal. I bought two kits – GGG53 with copper straight hair and GGG5 with black straight hair, as these were the two that appealed to me the most out of the range (I think there are five in the range at present). I also found the GGG56 character (dark blonde curly) online secondhand (nude) and bought that one too. I didn’t think that one doll (or character) was enough to make a good game. So when the time came I took the new boxes to my granddaughter to see what she made of them. You lift the lids and there are the dolls packed nicely with their clothes into the moulded clear plastic.. You just take the dolls and items out, and ready to play straight away – no cutting off awkward plastic ties. (Then when you have finished the doll and the items all go back into the same place – very neat). My granddaughter took the lids off – her eyes swept the boxes – and she said ‘Oh I get it – they are boys, but they are girls too!’. We got everything out and she immediately slammed on the dolls’ wigs making them (in her opinion) into ‘girls’. We dressed them up but she didn’t play with them as such, at first. I give these dolls the thumbs up for quality and durability. They are jointed at elbows, wrists, knees and ankles making them very poseable. The clothes are varied, fit well and very well made . Each kit comes with three pairs of shoes and other items like bags, glasses. At a later stage, I tried a few Barbie clothes on these dolls – some items iike skirts, shorts etc will be ok and even some dresses. After a while, my ten year old grandson drifted in. I asked him if he would like to ‘create a character’ (I deliberately didn’t say ‘play with these dolls’) but was still quite surprised when he did. He took over GGG56 and left him with short hair and dressed him up (he said) as a rock star. Then we all played a department store game with the characters buying clothes and interacting with each other. My granddaughter gave each character two names – a typical girls name and a typical boys name. I asked my granddaughter if she was rating the kits out of five stars what would she give them – she said four because she felt there could be more clothes. I thought for the money they were good value. Since I bought (before Xmas ’19) the price has dropped which makes me wonder if these dolls are not selling as well as Mattel thought they would. I see that some people are buying the kits, splitting them up and selling the pieces individually as buy it now or auction online. This would be an extremely expensive way to acquire these dolls and if you are thinking of buying, I would suggest it would be far better to buy a full kit, brand new. The wigs are not really interchangeable between the dolls as their fringe, or front bit of hair, is always showing (unless you like a two-tone colour look!). I also didn’t think the wigs fitted as well as they should (though not too bad). Another review I read said that they would’ve preferred the dolls to be bald, with different wigs – I think that would’ve been my best choice too. I liked these dolls, my granddaughter did too – but when all’s said and done, they are just nice little dress-up dolls with pre-teen bodies .

I ordered the pale skinned, black haired girl as in picture but recieved the wrong one, so just watch if ordereing a specific one. She really wanted the doll ordered but I didnt want to chance re-ordering so found it on ebay for couple pound cheaper. I kept the wrong doll as she is lovely, and it can join her little collection. I love the idea of these dolls, cheaper than many barbies and all limbs move, hands, feet, legs, knees and elbows. The clothing i think is just brilliant, brilliant quality and lots of different dress-up combinations, my girl has the added bonus of having another 3 of these sets so alot of clothing and mixing them up, she will sit and play for ages. Overall, I would buy these again and would happily pay the money for them in comparison to a barbie doll.

This review applies to all this series of dolls - I think I now have them all! First off, they are great, poseable dolls. Not keen on some of the wigs, which don't fit well and won't stay on those who have already got a mop of curly hair. The main criticism of the clothes is that the trousers, long or short, which have velcro fastening to the rear, will not stay fastened if you put the doll into a sitting position. Whilst this can't be seen from the front, it is still a flaw. But I do really like them all, and hope to have a go at making outfits for them myself.

So glad I finally ordered one of these! I had been put off by the price tag but this one was reduced so I went for it (and luckily it was the one I wanted most which was a bonus) and I’m so glad I did! I love the way they are packaged. No horrible plastic ties, the doll and clothes can just be lifted out the tray. The doll itself is great, nice size and quality and the articulation is brilliant. The face paint is really nice and the hair is lovely and soft. The clothes re amazing, such good quality for fashion doll clothes! The jacket even has a real working zipper. I had loads of fun trying different outfit combinations. The wig works really well on this particular doll too. I’ve seen videos of some of the others and the wigs look a little odd on some as you can see the band, but because this doll has lovely curly hair, it’s concealed quite well. Now I’ve seen one of these dolls in real life, I’d have no issues paying the full price for them as it honestly is wonderful and worth it for the quality.

This is a really lovely doll. My ten year old daughter has decided that it is twins! Max wears the dungarees and Maxine wears the stripy skirt, you just never see them in the same room together! The doll is good quality, and increasingly well jointed. It can be posed very well and will stand up on its own. All the clothes are easy to remove and well finished. A very good value doll.

My partner and I had been undecided about buying this item since our son had seen it on the You tube channel Turbo Toy Time but was the best decision our little boy was over the moon to receive a Creatable World doll for Christmas. The doll itself is well made with no distinguishing features to say if it male or female and comes with selection of clothes, accessories and a wig to change the hairstyle. He loves dressing it in the variety of clothes and accessories making it to either a boy or girl. The only downside was the zip on the jacket broke within a few days of use, but can be still used. It didn't disappoint and he used his Christmas money to buy another.

Honestly these dolls are really good value for money and come with a lot of items to play with. The concept of the doll being any gender is great, but the wig on the longer wig has quite a thick wig cap that shows pretty easily. Overall its a wonderful toy though, and the quality of the doll itself and all the clothes are really nice.

There are a few things that I don't quite like: * Head size is more like Monster High, not like Barbie * The jumpsuit didn't fit the doll (was slightly shorter) * Out of the box the hair was very flat. I had to comb it, therefore I lost the nicely defined curls. * Also hair rooting was too sparse in the back * The wig is useless However, even with these disadvantages, I actually like the doll very much! The body has good articulation, joints are tight, and the clothes are amazing! I also bought an additional fashion pack and everything is of great quality and looks actually wearable. Much better than the contemporary Barbie fashion packs and play range clothes. And I think that some of these may actually fit some Barbies, or Skipper, or Stacie. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Zum Gesamt Eindruck: Wie ich bereits schon sagte Mattel KANN wenn sie wollen gute Qualität liefern, die Puppe ist stabil hält einiges aus, und das Statement was sie ausdrücken , das sie Geschlechtsneutral sind ist eine Sache für sich, Ich bin selber Mutter und kaufe das was meine Kinder haben wollen Und da die Puppe zudem zeit Punkt 19 euro im Angebot war musste ich zugreifen, ich finde den Original preis extrem Überteuert zumal die Puppen jetzt im 2.Wave sind und Mattel gerne sachen weglässt finde ich es vollkommen in Ordnung Also mein Rat an sie.. Greiffen sie zu wenn sie unter 20 euro sind Hier 4 Sterne von mir weil es mit dem Preisfall etwas ZU lange gedauert hat

Con molta curiosità ho acquistato questo Creatable world . Fa parte di una nuova linea di bambole gender completamente asessuate adatte ai bambini che possono sbizzarrirsi a giocarci e a vestirle come vogliono a seconda della loro fantasia e immaginazione . Infatti nel pack sono presenti sia vestiti femminili che maschili e anche una parrucca e tanti accessori . Io sono una collezionista e l'ho comprata per arricchire la mia collezione di dolls. In termini tecnici: la doll ha un corpo pivotal harley Davidson Ken in miniatura e quindi completamente articolato. La testa è leggermente più grande delle Barbie & co. però non è un problema , perché non sfigura vicino alle Barbie . Il collo è piccolo e credo che il corpo si possa combare senza problemi con le teste Skipper contemporanee e non. Anche se ha già un faccino carino e dolce con i lineamenti e il corpo preadolescente. Davvero molto ben fatta e carina. Posso dire che sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto. Unica pecca , il prezzo è alto ma ne vale la pena, perché ha molti accessori di buona qualità e soprattutto lui è snodato e ha un corpo più basso di Ken . Statura petite ❤ Inoltre la scatola è rigida e tutti gli oggetti possono essere riposti di nuovo all'interno. Acquisto consigliatissimo sia per i collezionisti che per i bambini. Secondo me è davvero un'ottima idea regalare queste dolls ai propri bimbi .
