The Three Billy Goats Gruff Hardcover – Picture Book, June 4, 1998

I made the props to go along with this storybook, it just makes the book so much more interesting, the little ones loved it.

Love this book from my own childhood. My grandsons do too. Just a nice little golden book.

My 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter had been practicing this book at her school. She spent many days talking about this story and acting it out, so I decided to buy this book, which seemed colorful. She loved it. It's short and precise, and the illustrations are perfect for children her age who do not yet pay much attention to long texts. Highly recommended, and the story is simple.

My 4 year old love this book hence his dad got him the book for his birthday, it’s now his favorite bed time story .

The illustrations by Stephen Carpenter make this version of this favorite fairy tale special to me. I loved reading it to my 9 grandchildren over and over again. Now I am buying 9 copies of it for my future great-grandchildren in case it goes out-of-print before they are born.

Got this book for my son when he was really young. I'd read it to him and sisters before bed. Fast forward to their kids. Grandson was having difficulty reading, and I found this book again. He LOVES it! More into trying to make the voices I do, but he's reading without a struggle now!!

My 2 and 3 year old both sit and listen to this story and I love reading it! It’s fun to do the different voices. I looked at many versions of this story and chose this one because I loved the illustrations. They weren’t too scary or overly stylistic like some other popular choices. The story is also not too wordy, just contains all the best parts. Highly recommend this version!
