OK, but Not Comparable to High End Clips
I was hoping someone could dupe the YS Park sectioning clips we have in the salon that are like $3 a piece, but these fell short. Of course, these are much less expensive so you get what you pay for. These are heavier than the other clips we have, so I hope at least they won't bend and melt when they accidentally get stuck in the laundry. But they don't grip the hair as well as our YS Park and Framar clips. The opening and closing is a little stiffer. One of them was basically defective when I got it because it didn't close tightly all the way.These basically hold like cheap duck bill clips, but they are much, much heavier. I will keep them because they were inexpensive and they look nice. I'll have to see if the gold color holds up.

Bright shiny objects
I liked these for the gold finish as you usually only see the silver option. The size is good (not too long or huge) and they are tight and feel secure in my hair. Just be aware that the cross section of these clips is curved, not flat, so they will put a crimp in your hair if it’s not super thick or if it’s not completely dry. Haven’t been using long enough to comment on durability but will come back with an edit if needed.

Already receiving compliments. Pretty, functional. It's hard to find these kinds of butterfly clips.
These butterfly clips aren't easy to find. I actually wanted them in silver, but the gold is okay, too. Very pretty.They clip on easily and don't fall off, which is a major plus. I have lost so many hair clips over the years . . .One of my favorite health clinicians waxed rhapsodic about the look of these. I gave her a pair-----you would have thought they were made of real gold, she was that thrilled.
