What can you say. These are Van de Camps Pork (now Van Camps since Conagra acquired the brand) and beans. The Pork & Beans America grew up with. The flavor is still there, but I have to say, The Pork is not. Disappointing? YES. A deal breaker? NO Once I realized there was zero pork in these beans, I just added some chopped bacon. Problem solved.

They taste good and were a good deal. Easy to fix as a side dish.

I really like these beans and haven't had them in ages. Local stores don't seem to carry them. So when I saw them here I ordered 3 cans. I always add ingredients to these to suit my taste. Well, alas, it is not in the cards for me to enjoy them again. All 3 cans were dented when they arrived and I did not dare to use them so tossed them out. Pity I was so looking forward to these beans once again. 🥲

Never fails great baked beans on top of stove or in oven

These are both e.z. prep and a family fav. I like to add a skoop of butter for richness and maybe a little fresh onion for service

These were not comparable to baked beans bought of the same brand years before .They are not as sweet, but I added them to dried soup mix and was extremely pleased with the wholesome results.

I have ordered these pork and beans more than once. They always have a long best to use date on them, and they are fresh and taste great. It also makes a great storage item. If you ever need to make up a food box for anyone they are great to grab and put in the box with other items.
