Worked great on Chevy Colorado I left sitting for 3 years.
My chevy has been sitting for 3 years, so it has no AC when i finally started driving it again, used this product as directed and now the AC is cold again. It's a bit of a pain to charge from empty to green(start of green not all the way). Not quite as cold as before I left it sitting but I probably need to charge again after the seals re-lubricate and re-seal the system back to a healthy state but 2 days and it's still working, will check levels in another day or so after I know the seals have been lubricated in the system.Arrived on time, slightly oversized box but guess they wanted to insure it didn't get punctured. I have probably half to 3/4 of the can left after charging from empty so it's enough to do large vehicles or multiple vehicles. The way to do it properly, turn on engine, ac wide open and recirculate on, then hook up to the valve, it should show low as mine did, will be red if ac is off. Pull the trigger for a few seconds, release then let it sit for a minute or so then do it again until it reaches the green mark, do go too far into the green or you will overcharge the system and damage it.Once done store in a cool/dry location away from the sun and where kids can access or use on the next vehicle.

easy to use - my daughter did it
Follow the instruction and be sure you have a thermometer. My daughter away from home (at college in Az) did the recharge by herself. Her boyfriend barely knows where to put the gas. (Nice guy still)

Proceed with caution
I have refilled Freon in my car multiple times but have always bought it at the store. When I attached the nozzle the can exploded and shot from my yard across the street. Probably just got a defective can or the heat from having it delivered may have something to do with it. Hard to leave a positive review when I was luck not to be hospitalized from using it. Also hose is very short making it difficult to reach low pressure ports that aren’t easily accessible.

Easy to use, not expensive, but could use some improvements
Easy to use, but I've uesd them before.Follow the instructions carefully. Use the gauge to check if your refrigerant is low to begin with and if so ,by how much. It's easy to overcharge the system if you don't check first. Keep the AC on full-blast, with the doors or Windows of the car open. This will ensure that the AC compressor is working throughout and doesn't turn off when the interior has become too cool. Keep an eye on the compressor, to make sure it's spinning throughout the procedure.Be very careful how you fit the hose and gauge on to the aerosol can. If you cross threads when you're screwing it on, it may puncture awkwardly and leak. This happened to me. Fortunately, I was still able to use it and saw the pressure rise from about 18 PSI to 42 PSI on the gauge. The AC is working fine now. If they provided a longer hose that would have been great as well.

Worked great--hose is a bit short, so be sure you have enough clearance to shake this can
Worked great for me. At first I thought the gauge was faulty, but this was because I didn't know that my refrigerant was so low that it looked like zero psi on the low pressure side. Only after I borrowed a dual manifold gauge did I find out that this can's gauge was correct--the low pressure side really was just over zero psi.I pumped nearly the whole can into the vehicle, using a heat gun to keep the can warm while spinning it from 12 o clock to 3 o clock, and it worked great. The A/C gets nice and cold now, even though I still am about 2 to 4oz short of the rated amount for the vehicle. (I didn't want to buy a second 18oz can just to get the last 4oz.)My only nitpick about this product is that the hose is a bit short. I was lucky in that the low pressure valve is easy to reach on my vehicle, so I knew I could buy this product and not the other one with the longer hose. But, it definitely made it more awkward to rotate the can. When the reusable gauge breaks, I'll buy another kit with a longer hose.

Video demo of recharging
[...]I have not used it by myself, so do not go by my rating as It was mandatory while creating this review.

Cool air again!
The hose is a little short, for the 2002 Impala I recharged. After I worked out the angles the product worked very well. I had no problem on the recharge and followed the instructions on the can. What I did find is that even though my AC was blowing cool air before the charge, 19oz's wasn't enough to fully charge the system. When I tried to purchase a refill can, it seems that it is only sold with the dispensing hose and gauge. I ended up purchasing an additional two 12 oz cans at a local store to finish the job. The dispensing hose did fit the R134a cans I bought and operated properly. I'm very happy with the product.

Useful Gauge and Ice Cold
The gauge that came with it allows you to set the ambient temperature so you know what range to be in. I had an AC vacuum pump at home to remove all air out of the system and to create a vacuum and now it’s so cold that wifey has to set it above 70°F. I decided on this product because it’s the number of ounces I need.

Great product
This product works as it says it will. Once system charged, the A/C ran better than ever in my 99 BMW. It is easy to use with the included gauge.
