Yes the teal stripes near the top and bottom do get dirty. I have had mine 2 years, and just ordered another one just like it as well as a white one with black stripes before they discontinue the 11 series cases. It is a bit scratched, but not bad considering it gets used and abused. For the price, I am fine with replacing it. I loved everything about this case, it is very durable, I frequently drop my phone and the case has done a great job protecting it. The case is really a nice color combination. I especially like how the stripes grip well, it doesn't slide around on the car dash, yet it slides easily into a slim back pocket.

This is a very sturdy and non slip case. The contrast of the black and white is quite striking. The case is very tight and somewhat difficult to put on and remove. My first one has lasted three years until I just noticed two cracks in the corners from dropping the phone. But it is still working quite well. I only bought a second one for the future in case they are no longer available.

I loved this case so much that when my old one finally wore out I got the same one again. So protective. I have dropped My phone a million times and this case has paid for itself ten times over. It is ideal for my needs. The smooth case makes it easy to slip in my jeans back pocket but the grippy strips ensure a good grasp.

I love the quality of product I’ve gotten from all my Speck phone cases. It’s by far my favorite brand! The candy lavender tones are figures gorgeous, however the mint green grips look very dirty and wear down much more quickly then I would prefer. Especially as it is very hard to clean and doesn’t start looking nice. My last Speck case was all the Candy shell and I will be going back to that the next time I order. The Speck durability and sleek design in not being bulking over your phone, yet really protecting your phone are top notch!!

It looks really expensive and is made very well. Looks high-tek and feels really good in your hand. I'd pay $40 for this case if I had to. It's just well-made. Don't waste money on cheap cases you'll regret every 3 months. This one is awesome and on sale now, which it was not when I ordered it. It was worth full price too. Not mad about it at all. Go for it
