The Clakit Smartphone StrapPack attaches to a shoulder strap or belt up to 3 inches wide. Fits most backpacks, sling packs, tactical packs, travel packs, purses, baby carriers, golf bags, sports bags and more. Clakit StrapPacks are lightweight pockets that attach anywhere along a strap or belt, requiring just 2 inches of strap space. They use a patented clip to provide a secure, no-slip, no-bounce and comfortable fit. They are easy to install and offer easy access to your smartphone, keeping it always accessible and secure from theft while you hike, travel, commute or simply walk around town. The fabric is lightweight and strong 1000D waterproof Cordura. StrapPacks can be installed on either right and left shoulder straps. You can even install multiple StrapPacks on a single strap. Clakit was conceived while hiking in the California mountains and realizing that everything was on our backs - even items we used often. When you needed to access something, you have to stop, shed your bag, search for the item(s), and then repack. Whether its water, a smartphone, map, wallet, snack, or permits - they were inconveniently located. Clakit lets you move important often-used items to the front of your body where they are accessible and secure. It starts with a patented nylon clip that lets you add interchangeable pouches to the front of your backpack, baby carrier or messenger bag. Rather than place often used items on your back, Clakit lets you put them on your front using available shoulder strap space. The interchangeable pouches let you customize your strap for commuting and then later change it for a day of hiking, photography, biking or simply walking around town.

This case does the job!
I'm usually too lazy to review products, but when a product is either outstanding or really sucks, I leave a review. I regularly walk or bike to work with a backpack, and I'm an avid hiker on the weekends. I am also a mountain rescue volunteer. I got this case for my Galaxy S23 Ultra phone. The Ultra is a bulky phone and mine has a Casebourne shock-proof case on it. I can fit the phone and case into this case just fine. It is a snug fit. The case attaches securely to my backpack strap. The flap completely covers the phone. This is important because when you are hiking, you often take your pack off and set it down. The pack strap might flop over or the pack may fall over from the position where you set it and you don't want your phone exposed when that happens. It is also protected when you're bushwhacking through heavy brush like I often am. Your phone is more protected in this case than it is in your pocket and it is very accessible when you need it for a photo or to look at a map. I have used this back and forth to work and the gym for a couple weeks or so. I have used it on 4 hikes I believe. All 4 of those hikes included some off-trail bushwhacking, and two of those hikes were on mountaineering routes in snowy and rocky areas. One of those hikes included some glissading down snowfields. I have also used it on one search and rescue mission where I was off trail and hiking up a rugged canyon in the middle of the night up and over waterfalls. So far this case has worked perfectly. I attached it to my strap using the plastic clasp it came with. I was a bit concerned about the clasp getting bumped open because it seems theoretically possible. But even in the open position, it doesn't easy come completely off the pack strap. But I used the velcro strap that came with the case to secure it at a second point for good measure. There is one more thing I might do to make the attachment extra bomber. You could take a short piece of paracord tied to form a loop. Then girth hitch one of the sewn loops on the back of the case. Then attach the other end of the paracord loop to a carabiner clipped to an attachment point on your pack strap. That would be an additional backup if the equipment failed and your phone and case fell off. But that being said, it has performed flawlessly in some pretty aggressive conditions so far.

Great way to protect and carry your phone on a backpack
I recently carried this phone carrier for 300 miles, trekking along the Camino de Santiago in Spain. For 20 days, the carrier stayed solidly attached, with my phone quickly available. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra, with a largish case...this XL attachment fits my phone perfectly.Note: this model uses Velcro to secure the flap...that is very quick and secure, but noisy when opening. They make a similar model that uses a nylon snap to secure the phone, instead of Velcro...much quieter, but you have to remember to snap the link closed.

Pretty good with one minor issue.
I got the Large Red version. I have a Note 10 plus with the Otterbox symmetry case on it. Phone fits perfectly with it. The one thing i dont like about the pouch is the amount of velcro on it. It should be half or less and it would be perfect. Might fix it myself but cutting some of the stitching and cutting it in half on the rough part of the velcro. And it came with additional velcro that you can use to keep the bottom of the puch attached to the strap or whatever you mount it too. So thats cool.Build quality otherwise is great. Heavy duty, stitching seems good, the clakit strap for the pack itself is good and strong it seems. Time will tell.

Loving this!
I bought this to replace an old cellphone strap pack that was sort of falling apart and have been very impressed with it after a few long hikes. The clip (a free "low profile" clip) clamps right onto my day-pack strap and holds firmly. I can't feel it there at all - out of the way of my arms and doesn't dig into my chest at all. The Medium is the perfect size for my Pixel 3a - the velcro closing keeps my phone secure (but not difficult to retrieve when I want it) and the slight firmness that the case has feels protective as well. I've recommended this to my hiking pals already - much better than stowing my phone in my pants pocket or in my pack where I can't reach it to take pictures.

Does the Job Well
This was a perfect fit for my iPhone X. Securing it with the included strap to my backpack's shoulder strap made for easy access. I bought my first one in Sept 2021. Bought a second recently as the Velcro on the first one started to wear and not stay closed anymore. I hike often and in all kinds of weather and every season. I'm a Licensed NYS Hiking Guide. I also do a lot of Off Trail hiking, so I needed something that would not get pulled off while going through dense forest areas. It never has. The only time I have to put my phone in a pocket is when the temps got into the Teens and below, as exposure to the cold kills my battery. I now use the old one to hold my Backup Battery Pack for my phone, as it stays in my pack. Well worth the investment.

Need somethings softer and more flexible
Great idea, not great execution. sturdy but very bulky. I have a backpack that has a neoprene (or something like that) slip pocket with a zipper pocket in front of the slip pocket, on the strap. I love it! BUT the backpack does not have pockets inside, has lots of pulleys and straps and no laptop sleeve....so not a very functional backpack for my needs. I am looking for something that can clip or velcro to the strap of a more functional (overall) backpack to keep my phone (and maybe sunglasses) easily accessible. It seems pretty easy to do! But apparently not because my search continues. This one fits my phone and is very sturdy with rugged velcro to keep things save. It is just stiff and bulky but the worst part for me is the hard plastic clip the connects it to the strap. I see what they did and why, but the plastic part bumps my clavicle uncomfortably. The only place it seems to be OK, is if I slide it all the way down to the bottom of the strap, past my hip bone. I don't know if my arm swing or hip would be a problem on a longer hike, as I have only tried to use it at the airport so far. Probably will keep it, as it wasn't too pricey and I don't have anything better yet.

Super Tasche

Perfect for the commuter on a bike
If you need somewhere safe and reachable for your mobile phone then use this. I keep an iphone 8 in here which is one of the larger sizes. Have never had this mini strap pocket fall off and the clip on it is extremely strong. Good shield against wet weather too.

Funtioniert gut
