These slug plugs work perfectly!
If you hear the term slug plug on a firearm it’s that area behind the magazine that may be an open void. It can be left open but I prefer to plug it to keep dust and stuff out of the gun. Once installed it can be removed to clean the channel but not much accumulates in there once plugged. This fits, stays put, and never had an issue with Pearce brand stuff.

Nice look/fit G42
If your going to buy one of these get a Pearce brand one.. I have these on my G42 and G30s and they both look great! They fit great and looks factory definitely recommended.

Warning for G43 owners.........
Bought 2 of these, one for the G42 and one for the G43. The one for the G42 fits perfectly as does the one for the G43 "except" for one thing and that's the reason for the missing star. I have installed Taran Tactical Innovation's plus 1, 2 & 3 round floor-plates on my G43 magazines (so now I have 2-7rnd, 2-8rnd and 2-9rnd mags instead the factory 6 rounders). This is a problem as the pin that holds the TTI mag extensions on (keeping the floor-plates securely in place) also prevents ALL the mags from seating properly by contacting this Pearce Grip frame insert and I will now have to modify the G43 frame insert by drilling a hole in it for the pin or simply leave it out, which is what I have done at the moment. Great part though, but IF you have TTI mag extensions ya might want to beware of this minor problem when adding this part upgrade to your Glock 43 pistol in combination with the TTI products.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SHADOW SYSTEMS CR920
I've seen plenty of reviews with pictures proving this fits the glock 43 perfectly. It is also not advertised to fit the shadow systems cr920. That's why I'm still giving it 5 stars. HOWEVER, it does NOT fit the Shadow Systems CR920 (or P) which is based on the g43 platform. Tried to sand it down the fit the frame and everything, absolutely foes not fit. If you're looking for a plug for shadow systems cr920 and variants, this is not it! I took one for the team so no one else has to!
